Stage 6 Report

Stage 6 is the first of two big mountain finishes. Today it is La Montagne de Lure, 15k at 6.7%. The stage is 173k with a number of smaller climbs along the way, although nothing that seems likely to trouble the GC riders.

Zegklis shows off his sprint speed again to take the first of the three Cat 3s that come before the final climb (also one sprint point). Kess and KÃ¤mna the next two. 51k to go and the lead is 2â€™34.

The next Cat 3 goes to Vauquelin. Zegklis dropped about 1k from the top. Dima dropped earlier. Peloton has split and there are 53 riders in the Yellow Jesey group. All the favorites accounted for.
