There was a good contest for the breakaway today but again the peloton refused to let significant numbers get away. Things eventually settled on the trio of pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2026/Micros/brc.png Nicolas GOJKOVIC, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2026/Micros/znf.png Tomas KOPECKY and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2026/Micros/eve.png Mads LANDBO. The three rode the various intermediate competitions in exactly that order; enough to bring pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2026/Micros/brc.png GOJKOVIC level with pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2026/Micros/pgt.png Axel KALLBERG in the Mountain standings, but not enough to take the jersey off his back.
