Surprised by some of the trainings for 29-30 year olds this cycle!

Why can't poeple just let their riders stay at the stats I'm used to looking at them with?

That's a very tasty list!

Double 83 MO training and 3x 82 training in the PT sounds scary Shock

Sykkel_Freak
Feels like many people tried to take advantage of a somewhat weak cobbles field with lots of money invested. Siric, Girmay, Gamper, Vemeersch and Ovsyannikov all looking very scary with their increases!

Happy to see less of a focus on sprints. Dainese should be the 2nd best PT sprinter on paper now, but sprints will of course remain somewhat of a lottery!

Fabianski
MVD really didn't need that training Rolling Eyes
Evenepoel will be even more of a monster, hope I can avoid him as much as possible. Gazelle also with smart and efficient trainings imho. And wonder where Bralirwa got all their training money from, fortunately I'm not very much into cobbles Pfft

A few thoughts on some of the relevant trainings:

Dainese: Does push him up to a top tier level and with a solid train, however, I do believe that controversially speaking more points could have been gained from the same amount of money by pumping Kiiskonen to 78/78 as his main leadout guy instead.

Skejlmose: No brainer for the regional aspects and MM gain, although the full effect of it might not be seen until next season after the next round of declines.

Siric and Primozic: Both are great trainings. I was down to put Primozic as this year's Bassoesque rider and would have done so 100% now if I knew he'd be getting a bump.

Rokas and Lasinis: I like the Rokas training as a long term project, but I am not super sold on Lasinis as an investment piece, besides the obvious regional focus, which this is great for!

Louvel: Goated training.

Giannoutsos and Stavrakis: Absolutely in line with the regional focus and I think both will have solid years in their respective divisions.

Vansevenant: Tough transfer year for Roturn with the timing, this training is a nice silver lining and if he relegates Vansevenant will bounce him back immediately.

Leknessund and Aleotti: in terms of pure points gain I think the money might have been better spent in signing in a new leader but love both for the long term identity of Gazelle.

Nu Hasan and Firdaus: Strong for the regional aspects but even with these trainings a lot rests on Dunbar's shoulders.

McNulty: Needed training to keep up with the makeup of the division.

Ocampo: Knowing the logic behind the training I quite like it and it sets up LPH nicely next year.

Bernal and Bagioli: Again great long term projects for beagle, Bernal could be incredibly dangerous especially on the TDF route this year if Beagle goes down that path.

Evenepoel: The path for Remco has been chosen, let's see if he can follow up his great debut year at maxed.

Banaszek: I like this training, should put Banaszek into a solid few more sprints.

Vermeersch: Obviously great training, even if it faints a little bit with some of the other trainings of Girmay etc.. Will be an absolute beast for Evonik this year.

Girmay & Madouas: As I said in Barlirwa HQ this is setting up for a direct top 10 in PT next year.

Lyu: I have a hard time seeing this really making a huge difference, but obviously quite nice with the regional focus in mind and Lyu is a cool rider that I like seeing get love.

Errazkin: really don't enjoy this training tbh, but I hope for Gustav's sake that I get proven wrong.

Bjerg: Necessary training to try and stay up but makes you wonder if this money could have bought you a Halvorsen and stabilised in PCT while staying regionally locked in.

Schmid: The MM bump might make this better than double STA, but it comes down to planning.

Bissegger: Good training nothing more to say, young solid energy stats and a solid piece for any sort of TT race.

Gamper: Super solid training, Gamper is a great rider.

Van Gils: Also quite like this.

Hecht: Think this is lowkey going to be a great training for the value it provides.

Rutsch: Great value.

Van Dijke: I love Van Dijke but unsure if this really moves the needle on an already great rider.

Lampawog: Maybe the money should been dropped on a double training here instead? Because I quite like what I am seeing.

Almeida: A necessary evil, even if isn't sexy.

Tedia: Just another solid cobbles training to keep up with the rest of the field.

Ovsyannikov: Would have really loved this to a duble Cobbles but obviously really tough to do on a PCT budget and would have meant parting with THJ.

Jorgenson: Yes.

Powless: 82 TT would have taken away a detrimental amount of RDs in CT so this is the second best option.

Beltran and Mayer: Both solid in just trying to wring out as many points as possible on the CT wage cap.

Cras and Ganjkhanlou See above.

Stocek: Imagine what Lafay could have been with the money invested into Stocek Sad Consistent with what imladrik wants to do and should still provide some great points.

Osorio: A way to try and keep up and regionally solid.

Don't disagree, but on the other hand probably way cheaper to acquire a 78/78 lead-out in transfers than spending 1,55m on training Kiskonen. Training Dainese felt like the most sensible solution long term.

Looking foward to the podcast!

To comment on Rutsch, no idea if it is great value or not. I can say the thinking behind it was simple "I have 200k and I am to late to enter a GT, what the fuck do I do with it?"

Small mistake in the db, even so small I don't know if it is important to fix:
