Very nice pick up! I had him as one of those luxury pick ups myself. I think he will perform very well.

Russo is a cool sprinter outsider, especially on minimum wage. It's actually his niche (he's been with me when I promoted from CT), but I can't remember him ever being renewed.
So don't expect many wins, but he'll always be in the mix in the hilly-but-not-too-hilly classics.

Wait Wisniowski is in CT?!? Individual standings contender for sure - two great pickups you have there! Excited to see the rest (and a tad nervous)

Love the cards you present the riders with! Wisniowski is a legend many of us love. Was absolutely phenomenal in his prime when riding for Aker, really loved to have him back then. Should still be very capable in the CT, and expect him to do very well in the cobbled classics there |

Wisn is a gret first pickup. Russo and Rumac should do very well across two terrains! Great start I'd say

Thank you for the positive feedback on the presentation cards. Appreciate it!
@Imladrik, knockout, seancall: I hope he will be good indeed and channel his Roubaix aura. He is our main signing for sure.
@kandesbunzler: with limited racedays in C2 that is very likely to be the plan.
@ember: Loving to have a fan already. Hope to support him well.
@kandesbunzler (again): Russo is a cool signing. I don't know how much he'll ride for himself or be a support guy, depends also on other signings. Right now we value him not only as a sprinter, but also hills and cobbles domestique.
@Sotd: good to hear that from you, hope you are right.
@Abhi: Yeah we have a focus on semi-classics and I think they will do well there. Although I have seen Rumac has done well in CT last year. Let's hope he can do better with us.
That said, our next rider is in a similar mold...

My rookie has been cooking! Wish I could claim credit for the rider taste but you've got a great sense all on your own so far
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Even with low energy stats that CB and FL stat combo on Wisniowski should probably be still very good. Hilly sprinters are always more hit and miss than some other riders, but stacking them together in the right race can deliver a big return.

Maybe we had to sack Grosser, but not without a carbon copy...

Definitely wishing I’d put together this good of a team when I was in my first season! Clearly came in with a plan and I’m very impressed!
