Welcome. Please don't sign any Italians, as that really hurts my team

With the transfer window well underway, Fincantieri - Grand Seiko has been active building out our debut roster. While our visual identity remains under development, the cultural identity and racing style of the team has been set by leadership from the very beginning of the project. Our initial group of five signings and inbound transfers adhere closely to our vision for success, including two national champions in the Japanese Road Race Champion, the veteran puncheur Tomohiro Kinoshita, and the dual Monégasque Road Race and Time Trial Champion, Victor Langellotti, who is of Italian descent.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | Age | Wage | | Kinoshita | 69 | 68 | 74 | 79 | 62 | 74 | 71 | 67 | 55 | 64 | 71 | 69 | 67 | 62 | 74.81 | 35 | 90000 | | Langellotti | 72 | 72 | 75 | 77 | 67 | 76 | 71 | 76 | 59 | 67 | 74 | 73 | 69 | 66 | 75.66 | 31 | 115000 |
Joining the pair are three strong support riders. Antoine Aebi joins the team as an all-rounder superdomestique, who may also ride as a secondary leader in hilly terrain. As indeed will Fredrik Ludvigsson, with the pugnacious Swede originating from outside our focus areas but considered by our analytics department to be one of the most undervalued riders in the peloton. Finally, Taishi Miyazaki has joined as a senior domestique, to support Kinoshita and the rest of the team across a variety of parcours.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | Age | Wage | | Aebi | 69 | 72 | 74 | 76 | 64 | 74 | 72 | 66 | 60 | 69 | 74 | 66 | 78 | 63 | 74.92 | 28 | 75000 | | Ludvigsson | 67 | 63 | 70 | 76 | 69 | 74 | 70 | 69 | 53 | 67 | 76 | 78 | 68 | 69 | 73.15 | 32 | 50000 | | Miyazaki | 72 | 70 | 72 | 73 | 64 | 70 | 69 | 65 | 58 | 61 | 74 | 73 | 73 | 64 | 72.68 | 27 | 50000 |
The team continues to be active in the transfer market, and look forward to completing our initial roster and riding our debut races over the coming weeks. |

That is a very very strong start! Definately a hilly setup that should do well in the CT. A couple of them also useful next season in the PCT if you should promote

Very good pickups from FA and via deals, although it does crowd the hills part of the team!

That's a good start for your first transfer season, including regional leadership! If you get some leader(s) for other terrain(s) as well you'll have a good season ahead of you!

As the transfer window continues with deals flying left and right, three more riders have narrowed their sights and signed with us for the coming season. First is Rei Onodera, who steps down to the team from the PT level as a TT specialist and rouleur. We expect Rei to be a workhorse across a variety of terrains as we look to control and impact races, as well as challenge for every TT he enters over the course of the season.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | Age | Wage | | Onodera | 74 | 66 | 68 | 69 | 78 | 75 | 74 | 71 | 61 | 65 | 68 | 64 | 68 | 75 | 74.48 | 31 | 110000 |
Meanwhile, two more senior domestiques have signed as well, with both being capable of very fast finishes. First is Robin Froidevaux, with the versatile Swiss able to support team leaders across both the hills and the sprints, as well as being an ideal breakaway artist when tasked as a free element. He is joined by Tomohiro Hayakawa, the veteran sprinter who will both hunt his own finishes on some occasions, especially those with flatter terrain, as well as support the full sprint train on others.
| Nat. | Name | FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | Age | Wage | | Froidevaux | 70 | 64 | 68 | 72 | 64 | 72 | 70 | 66 | 61 | 72 | 74 | 71 | 68 | 67 | 72.40 | 28 | 50000 | | Hayakawa | 70 | 60 | 61 | 62 | 50 | 70 | 63 | 71 | 54 | 76 | 74 | 72 | 70 | 50 | 72.17 | 34 | 50000 |

Onodera is a great rider and one I had targeted in my planning. You should be happy to have him along at what is probably a fair wage. A great hill squad as well - I fear the hills may end up a very crowded area this year in CT from what I've been noticing.
Good luck with the remaining bits of transfers!

Thanks! Onodera is the one rider we've had to (very slightly) exceed our own internal valuation model to acquire so far, but elite (for the division) TTers are just such a reliable source of quality results, so we decided it was a worthwhile investment. |
