The Tinkoff festival is on – who among them will take the title? Or can Sony somehow spoil the party?
As we near the final 3 kilometers, only seven non-Tinkoff riders remain in this group of 21.
On the finishing straight, Kulikovskiy is the only one of those who remains in contention. Can he hold Trakhov’s wheel, or even pass him?
He actually can! Kulikovskiy’s high speed and reasonable hill capabilities triumph over the pure puncheurs of Tinkoff! Tikhonin comes flying in, but it’s too little, too late!

Time Trial
After a shocker in the road race, there will be no bad surprises here for Tinkoff. Only question is, who takes the title?
Thanks to alphabetical ordering, Zakarin is already the first rider at the finish line. His time will be the measuring stick for everyone else, and it might just stand until the end of the race – Vlasov falls almost one minute short, an indication of a very good time for Zakarin.
Two other riders stand a reasonable chance to take the title away from Zakarin. Yatsevich is the first, and he’s close, but ultimately is 23 seconds slower.
But then Razumov arrives and he’s on another level today. By 49 seconds, he takes the title and is the Russian TT Champion!
