Sprinter legend Ahlstrand gets one more shot at glory, but we could also see a changing of the guard to Stalberg or Forssell.
No relevant break of the day, but with 3.5 kilometers to go, Soderqvist attacks – and he quickly gets a decent gap!
Anderberg, Faglum Karlsson and Gebremedhin go after him, while the sprinter teams form their lead-outs.
Those three can't create a gap but Soderqvist still a bit ahead. Ahlstrand is the only of the three sprinters with a professional leadout and Wallinder does a good job to bring him into position. Stalberg is right next to him. Forssell has messed up his positioning and is out of contention.
Soderqvist is caught and Stalberg takes the lead – can Ahlstrand counter?
He can’t! Stalberg is the new Swedish Champion, giving DeNA Roadstars a nice boost heading into a pivotal offseason.

Anderberg is the favorite here, but can Forssell challenge him?
Bergstrom Frisk and Faglum Karlsson had an exciting battle for third place, with the better end for the Duvel stage racer.
In comes Forssell, and after a disappointing road race, he looks very, very strong here. 1’45 faster than Faglum Karlsson!
