We entered the month hoping to claim the division title. And the squad left their feet on the gas and got us there in the end!
(The team history and calendar section on the first page have also been updated and there will be some more reviews later on.)
| Start | End | Race | team goal | results | | 01-Oct | | Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec | - | - |
We just keep silence over this race.
| points: | 2 | | Aurelien Paret-Peintre | 2 |
| Start | End | Race | team goal | results | | 03-Oct | 08-Oct | Tour du Maroc | - | GC Podium; Stage Podium; Stage Top 5; 2 Stage Top 10s; 2nd U25; 3rd U25 |
Stage 1 was rather uneventful for us with Rajovic finishing outside of the top 10 in the sprint. Stage 2 saw some huge gaps behind the favourites, but Ranaweera was able to stay with the front group. Stage 3 saw a 4th place from Rajovic in the sprint before the real GC action started. Ranaweera came 9th in the mountaintop finish of stage 4, but with the remnants of the break among the stage top 10 he sat in 4th of the GC before the hilly stage 5. And our Sri Lankan showed once again he’s surprisingly strong in hilly finishes this season, finishing 2nd in the stage and climbing to 3rd in the GC on s.t. with 2nd. The final stage was flat again and Rajovic added another stage top 10 as 9th.
| points: | 158 | | Suranga Ranaweera | 121 | | Kevin Vauquelin | 22 | | Arman Garibian | 10 | | Dusan Rajovic | 5 |
| Start | End | Race | team goal | results | | 10-Oct | 15-Oct | Tour of South Africa | - | GC Top 10; Stage Podium; 3 Stage Top 10s; 3rd Teams |
The first stage was a rather quiet one for us, but APP finished in 10th with the main group and Costiou took the white jersey. Stage 2 was essentially the same, although there was a shock moment when APP lost contact to the favourites for some time. Stage 3 was rather flat (at least in comparison) and for some reason Boileau thought this could be his day. He actually was right and finished 2nd in the sprint (which also was his first ever podium), so it would have been interesting what APP could have done. Stage 4 was a TTT and we finished in a good 4th there, this time bringing APP to the line who climbed to 6th in the GC within reach of the podium. The next stage seemed like the Queen Stage of the race but ended up with a big peloton finishing together with APP in 8th. He finished the last stage one place better and stayed in 6th overall.
| points: | 66 | | Aurelien Paret-Peintre | 47 | | Alan Boileau | 13 | | Ewen Costiou | 3 | | Sulkhan Akhmaevi | 1 | | Stefan Küng | 1 | | Matis Louvel | 1 |
| Start | End | Race | team goal | results | | 17-Oct | | Giro dell'Emilia | - | Top 25 |
It’s been another rather mediocre classic for APP as he finished in 13th. But after this season that’s only a footnote anyway.

Sucks for Lapeira that he already declined in his climbing skills at a young age

Age is catching him early... But after we send him out to climb Mont Ventoux a couple of times he's back in form!
Also good to know nobody (else) actually looked at the numbers

In our big season review we’ll have a look at our results we got, how our season goals panned out and how our riders did (one by one).
Results
| season | team name | division | points | position | wins | 2nd | 3rd | goals | 2025 | Ekoi - Le Creuset | PCT | 3473 | 1/24 | 8 | 6 | 9 | 3/5 |
It’s been the first time ever we didn’t at least double our points from last season, but we scored more than 1000 points better than last year and actually not only promoted but won the division, so we’ll probably get over it.
And here’s an overview of all our podiums (stages, races and classifications) of the season:

| race | goal | result | Tour of Britain | Win | 10th | Franceville Classique | Top 10 | 9th | Tour d’Andorra | Top 5 | 14th | Chrono d’Arenberg | Top 10 | 7th & 10th | | Team Standings | Top 10 | 1st |
In short: we achieved those goals we thought were realistic and missed out on those who were harder (or totally unrealistic) to achieve. In total that results in 3 achieved goals, which is not only a new record but also the same amount we got in our 3 prior seasons, so there’s actually a learning curve!
In the end (or is it the end?) we’ll have a look how each one of our riders did – and what plans we have for them in the nearer and more distant future.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Sulkhan Akhmaevi | 68 | 8 | 0,16 | 1 | |
Sulkhan was signed as an all-round helper for stage races and especially the TTTs and he did his job quietly all season. As a low wage domestique he has good chances to stay.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Alan Boileau | 56 | 27 | 0,25 | 0 | |
Alan had a hard job this season as essentially the main (and sometimes only) domestique of APP. His own scoring wasn’t great at all, but seeing how well his captain did puts that in perspective. And he achieved his first ever podium when the season was nearly done.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Ewen Costiou | 85 | 47 | 0,94 | 2 | |
Ewen has done pretty well for a lvl. 3 rider and scored some nice points on his own. He’ll continue his development with us.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Arman Garibian | 59 | 279 | 2,94 | 0 | |
Arman was a revelation this season. He won two U25 classifications and podiumed in 6 more. Add some nice depth scoring and a surprising 6th place in the GC of PTHC Tour de Suisse. He amassed nearly 300 points this season and was one of the big overperfomers who allowed us to not only fight for promotion but also for the division title.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Gabriel Grozev | 15 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
Gabriel had the quiet season to be expected by a stagiaire. But given his potential as a punchy domestique, his experience from this season allowing him to be developed even in PT and the higher salary cap in PT he’ll clearly get an offer for a full time contract.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Gasper Katrasnik | 58 | 130 | 1,86 | 4 | |
Gasper had only one great result with a podium in Lisbon Classic, but given his wage and the scoring opportunities for rouleurs in PT we’re bound to keep him around as a low wage depth scorer.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Alexandre Kess | 93 | 2 | n/a | 1 | |
Alexandre did what we expected from him: just be helpful wherever he had to start. We wish him all the best with cycleYorkshire and hope to (probably) meet him again in the PT pelotons next year.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Jesse Kramer | 15 | 0 | 0 | 1 | |
For Jesse it’s essentially the same as with our other stagiaire: he didn’t have much room to shine, but given the new situation in PT he’ll surely get an offer to show himself full time.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Stefan Küng | 71 | 308 | 3,08 | 0 | |
Stefan did what we signed him for: he was our captain in those all-rounder racers like Benelux and nearly missed a GC podium in our wildcard appearance in ToNE. He scored over 300 points in the end and although his incoming decline he’ll still be a valuable all-round helper (and maybe depth scorer) next season – as long as his wage demands are reasonable.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Paul Lapeira | 69 | 89 | 0,81 | 0 | |
Paul was a crucial part of the successes of the cobbles squad and also scored some nice points himself given he’s not even maxed yet. We’re excited to see how he does in PT after finishing his development!
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Matis Louvel | 68 | 216 | 2,16 | 1 | |
Matis scored about 200 points and showed his potential as a leader for hilly-cobbled races with a podium in Macskako Kerekparverseny. We really hope to find the funds to allow him some training for the next season.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Lenny Martinez | 97 | 4 | 0,01 | 1 | |
This season was all about learning for Lenny so he was our most racing rider this season. We hope he’ll be able to contest in some more breaks next season and be a (co-)leader from 2027 onwards.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Matija Mestric | 59 | 60 | 1,2 | 0 | |
Matija has been a loyal helper for our cobbles leader and had the opportunity to co-lead (and show his NC jersey) in the C2 races. He scored decently for himself and given his expected salary there’s no reason why he shouldn’t stay with the team.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Aurelien Paret-Peintre | 48 | 655 | 2,43 | 0 | |
APP was less consistent in the classics than last season due to his thinned out support cast, but he also had some great results there with a win in Wallonie or a podium in San Sebastian. And he even did far better in the hilly stage races by adding some big results to his usual consistency, most prominently in Pais Vasco. He ended as the fourth best puncheur of the division with a shared 15th place in the individual rankings.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Thibaut Pinot | 67 | 9 | 0,18 | 2 | |
Thibaut was a late addition and essentially worked as our road captain in all the classic stage races. And though his scoring was low (no surprise given his third decline) our stage racers did great, so it’s mission accomplished in his final season with the team.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Nate Pringle | 87 | 1 | n/a | 9 | |
Nate continued the tradition of loaned-in riders being our breakaway kings as he was responsible for nearly a third of all our breakaway appearances this season. We’re hopeful to see him make his way with Xero in the years to come.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Alain Quispe | 71 | 16 | 0,25 | 2 | |
To be frank, we’re a bit disappointed to see Alain in only two breaks over the entire season. We clearly hoped for more, but on the other hand our breakaway appearances were pretty scarce most of the season, probably because we had GC contenders in the race so often, so it’s hard to call him out on that. And who doesn’t want to see the Peruvian in an early break of a GT next season?
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Dusan Rajovic | 74 | 135 | 1,04 | 0 | |
Dusan had some bad luck by facing an insanely strong competition in PCT sprints this season, but he did his best to get the occasional stage podium and even a win in Japan. We’ll probably face him ourselves when he’s back with Cedevita the next season.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Suranga Ranaweera | 44 | 784 | 2,99 | 0 | |
Suranga surpassed all expectations by finishing as the third best stage racer of the division and just lost his spot in the top 10 of the individual rankings in the final race, scoring nearly 800 points. So as long as those results don’t get to his head (too much) we’ll be happy to see him lead us in a GT next season.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Timo Roosen | 74 | 111 | 1,85 | 4 | |
Timo used his opportunities in the C2 races to even get a podium in Geraardsbergen-Bosberg and was also among our most active breakaway riders. If he allows for a decent salary given his incoming decline there’s no reason why he shouldn’t get a renewal.
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Kevin Vauquelin | 55 | 103 | 1,29 | 0 | |
Kevin was a valuable domestique for Ranaweera this season and got himself some U25 podiums even as a non-maxed rider. We hope he'll actually win some white jerseys in the PT next season!
| rider | RDs | points | Ppk | BotDs | | Ruben Zepuntke | 63 | 489 | 2,45 | 0 | |
Deemed a perennial disappointer by some Ruben scored only one podium all season (by winning Kuurne – Bruxelles – Kuurne), but he was incredibly consistent in the cobbled classics over all categories and ended as the third best cobbler of the division with just under 500 points. He’ll be declining, but given his wage hopefully won’t increase (much) he’s about to stay and get a final shot at leading a team in PT.
There’s a bonus segment too! After such a successful season we also had a look at some pre-season predictions of our fellow managers – and want to give a shout-out to one particular believer!

Big congrats on the title! What a fantastic season I think you have a tough offseason ahead of you, because I think your team was very PCT specific in its build, with a lot of depth scoring from riders that I suspect won't be able to deliver the same impact in PT, and I'm not sure how well APP, Ranaweera or a 33 y/o Zepuntke can perform as leaders.
Then again, I might be very wrong about that, and obviously, as has been mentioned elsewhere, if you are looking for new leaders for PT, this might be the best FA market maybe ever. So, I'm very much looking forward to how you will navigate that, and I will root for you

Thanks for the congrats, the season effectively panned out perfectly. And while the planning profited quite a bit from how the others planned as well (and the resulting startlists) I'm really glad building an allround team worked so well! And I obviously hope Lapeira and Vauquelin will follow in the footsteps of Louvel and Garibian first maxed seasons!

Thanks! I already have some ideas for the off-season, but then again much will depend on who'll be available both in FA and for sale. The big decision will be whether we'll rather go for staying up (which will need some big leader(s) plus some good planning for the likes of APP and Ranaweera) or do a LPH move and go for talents (and hopefully training) instead. I think once I made my mind up about that, transfers will get really interesting!

I'll always be grateful for your sacrifice and really hope to see both of them still with us in PT and kicking some asses there!

Congratulations on the title!!!!
Please let Quispe take the first KoM in the Tour (another GT will also do fine), he deserves it, and he can definitely do it! And Love to read that Zepuntke will normally/hopefully also stay and get another chance to win Roubaix and de Ronde in the same season!

I wouldn't object if Quispe took a GT jersey for a day, but he'll need to be more active than last season to achieve that. And if all other cobblers leave PT and/or don't enter PR and RVV we'll happily see Ruben take the double as well!
But to be fair there's obviously still a chance they might leave us if someone convinces us with some good money although it's not how we plan with them.

With our fourth season done (and very successfully done) we decided we finally have accumulated enough history to allow for a deeper look.
Seasons with the Team
Three riders were under contract with us for all of the teams history, but only Arman Garibian actually raced for us every single year. Matis Louvel and Alan Boileau were also signed as part of our first talents class back in 2022 but spent a year out on loan.
| Seasons | Rider | Seasons | | 4 | Arman Garibian | 2022-2025 | | Matis Louvel | 2022-2025 (incl. loan-out) | | Alan Boileau | 2022-2025 (incl. loan-out) | | 3 | Aurelien Paret-Peintre | 2023-2025 | | Kevin Vauquelin | 2023-2025 | | Clement Chevrier | 2022-2024 | | Joris Delbove | 2022-2024 |
Race Days
Being long with the team (preferably as a talent) is the surest way to assemble many RDs. Arman Garibian tops this list too as the only rider with more than 300 RDs in our colours. Behind him are Joris Delbove, Kevin Vauquelin, Matis Louvel and Alan Boileau and although the latter three are still with the team it seems unlikely they will pass the Moldovan anytime soon (of ever).
| RDs | Rider | Seasons | | 303 | Arman Garibian | 2022-2025 | | 241 | Joris Delbove | 2022-2024 | | 237 | Kevin Vauquelin | 2023-2025 | | 209 | Matis Louvel | 2022; 2024-2025 | | 206 | Alan Boileau | 2022; 2024-2025 |
Race Wins
We never were a team that won races in a row, so Aurelien Paret-Peintre took until his third season to beat Felix Galls three stage wins from 2023. 5 out of 6 wins resulted from two single races: the 2023 Tour de San Juan (GC + one stage) and the 2025 Vuelta al Pais Vasco (GC + 2 stages). The only other riders with more than one win are Suranga Ranaweera and Clement Chevrier.
| Wins | Rider | Seasons | | 6 | Aurelien Paret-Peintre | 2023-2025 | | 3 | Felix Gall | 2023 | | 2 | Suranga Ranaweera | 2024-2025 | | Clement Chevrier | 2022-2024 |
Race Podiums
Aurelien Paret-Peintre also tops this list (his wins alone would have put him on the podium) showing how consistently he’s bringing in results. Suranga Ranaweeras strong recent season puts him on second here with team veteran (and first leader) Dylan Teuns still in third. The other riders with at least three podiums entirely consist of alumni like Julian Alaphilippe or Guillaume Boivin.
| Podiums | Rider | Seasons | | 19 | Aurelien Paret-Peintre | 2023-2025 | | 9 | Suranga Ranaweera | 2024-2025 | | 8 | Dylan Teuns | 2022-2023 | | 5 | Julian Alaphilippe | 2022 | | 4 | Guillaume Boivin | 2022 | | Felix Gall | 2023 | | Alvaro Hodeg | 2024 | | 3 | Olivier Le Gac | 2023-2024 | |
Points Scored
He’s been our team leader for three out of four seasons, so it’s no surprise Aurelien Paret-Peintre also tops this list. But Suranga Ranaweera is closing in after two strong seasons in PCT. Behind them are our cobbles leaders of the last two seasons Ruben Zepuntke and Maxime Daniel as well as our CT leader Dylan Teuns. It’s especially cool to see two of our self-developed talents on this list with Arman Garibian and Matis Louvel.
| Points | Rider | Seasons | | 1555 | Aurelien Paret-Peintre | 2023-2025 | | 1308 | Suranga Ranaweera | 2024-2025 | | 489 | Ruben Zepuntke | 2025 | | 386 | Maxime Daniel | 2024 | | 317 | Dylan Teuns | 2022-2023 | | 310 | Arman Garibian | 2022-2025 | | 308 | Stefan Küng | 2025 | | 280 | Matis Louvel | 2022; 2024-2025 | | 264 | Felix Gall | 2023 |
Break of the Day Appearances
We have two riders as shared leaders here with Kevin Vauquelin and Clement Chevrier. Both also won a stage from a break in contrast to everyone else on this list. It’s notable three loaned in riders used their single year in the team to propel themselves into this list with future TT dominator Rokas Kmieliauskas, his Zalgiris teammate Kristians Belohvosciks and Xeros Nate Pringle.
| BotDs | Rider | Seasons | | 16 | Kevin Vauquelin | 2023-2025 | | Clement Chevrier | 2022-2024 | | 11 | Rokas Kmieliauskas | 2022 | | 10 | Olivier Le Gac | 2023-2024 | | Kristians Belohvosciks | 2024 | | 9 | Thibaut Pinot | 2024-2025 | | Nate Pringle | 2025 | | 8 | Joris Delbove | 2022-2024 |
Points Jersey Wins
This list is pretty short as Aurelien Paret-Peintre is our only rider to ever win a points jersey at both his GC wins.
| Points Jerseys | Rider | Seasons | | 2 | Aurelien Paret-Peintre | 2023-2025 |
King of the Mountains Jersey Wins
This list is longer but probably even less impressive as it consists of everyone ever winning a single KoM jersey. Felix Gall did so in our legendary 2023 Tour of America, Dylan Teuns in the 2022 Tour of California, Lewis Askey in the 2024 Benelux Challenge and Thibault Pinot in the 2024 Tour d’Andorra.
| KoM Jerseys | Rider | Seasons | | 1 | Felix Gall | 2023 | | Dylan Teuns | 2022-2023 | | Lewis Askey | 2024 | | Thibaut Pinot | 2024-2025 |
Youth Jersey Wins
Despite having some nice talents we never were really strong in winning white jerseys. Felix Gall was the only rider prior to the last season able to get one, but Arman Garibians three classification wins in 2025 put him on top of this ranking.
| U25 Jerseys | Rider | Seasons | | 3 | Arman Garibian | 2022-2025 | | 1 | Felix Gall | 2023 |

After having secured not only promotion to the highest level of the MGUCI circuit but also doing so by winning the division it was rather easy to find a new title sponsor besides Ekoi. Some of our secondary sponsors had already signalized their will to step up to title sponsorship and so it was mainly a question of balancing out the expectations and demands of all parties involved. But before we announce how it worked out we want to thank our long-term title sponsor Le Creuset for their support over the past four years even after a difficult first season of the team. We’re also glad they will stay in a minor role with the team and maybe we’ll find a way to bring them back more prominently.
But who will replace them? It’s most probably no big surprise, but after Peugeot not only re-entered the professional cycling scene but did so by immediately promoting to PCT, Renault decided they could not let have their rivals the cycling stage alone for themselves and so they will also revive their own tradition in professional cycling by backing up the only French team on the highest level! We are more than heavy they not only signed a long-term partnership and secure us the financial funds needed to compete in PT, but also share our vision of long-term team-building and the approach to develop talents (especially but not exclusively) from France. They clearly see the double-value of getting future stars connected to the team (and brand) right from their roots both from a sporting and marketing point of view. So even a potential relegation won’t be a game-breaker for our partners if it helps the team in the long term.
So here is the new corporate design (and name) of the team for the years to come:
