Terrific performance by Amezawa, the GC podium looks very achievable now. Not sure the stage tomorrow will be tough enough to distance Burke, he seems to be in great shape, too. But Top 3 would be very good, too. Strong ride from Van Eetvelt as well, he has the U25 pretty much wrapped up and maybe he can sneak into the Top 20, too.
Great win for Assa Abloy, congrats! And that 2nd place for JEWA should be a very welcome boost in the relegation battle.
Thanks for the report Abi!

OMG, what is this? The two best riders, Almeida and Padun failed big. Idk if we can make up tommorrow, but this is our final goal race. Before the race i was pretty sure, that the top5 (for our first 5/5 goal achievement) will be gained, now im isnt sure
Thanks for the report and congrats for the winner! |

Congrats Sykkel!
Ranaweera in 4th of the GC is good given the competition, but now he has to prove this in the hills. He has done surprisingly well there this season, so maybe he can even aim for the podium.

Wow, excellent win by Zegklis! Really impressed by his climbing performance, and great to grab a stage win!
AHJ lost a lot of time as expected, but hopefully that means he can be in the breakaway again tomorrow and fight for KoM points. Should be a decent stage opportunity for Morin or Boswell as well if they can join the break.
Another impressive stage by Burke. It's looking good for Bolt!

Did not expect Burke to survive in the front group today, let alone drop some of the other contenders!
The hilly stage will be another test, so not celebrating anything yet, but even if he doesn't win the GC from here I'll be happy with the points scored so far. Congrats to Sykkel! |

0 pointer avoided. 3rd is great but not keeping up with front two is very disappointing from Januskevicius.

Hopefully Min can survive stage 5. Top-5 GC would be great

That Reis loss was to be expected and not totally terrible, it's a shame Rubio was second fiddle this stage instead of Vosekalns, otherwise we could have had two horses near the top ten

Sosa clearly likes it in the PCT. Novak and Amezawa finish in the front GC group and sit 2nd and 3rd on the GC and Ivan rolls in 2 minutes later and sits in 11th. He can't complain about lack of team support since Kuss managed to beat him.
Maybe he could rouse himself to be competitive in the hilly stage now he screwed up the GC.

Carapaz being Carapaz...
At least we had Carpenter in the break, although it would have been better with Assman.
