Congrats jaxika, your team really has a run at the moment!

For us the podium is done with that result and even a top 5 seems out of reach. 6th isn't a bad result though and with Garibian and Vauquelin keeping up their latest U25 run we'll have a nice points haul nonetheless.

Well that really didn't go according to plan, massive time loss for Misbah means he's out of contention for a good GC result.

Caspi
Poor showing from Carpenter in the breakaway, but still nice to see him try something.

10th is as good as we could expect from Carapaz. With a bit of luck, he might be able to sneak into the top 10 in the GC on the MTT.

Assuming where Elosegui finished, he must have put in the brunt of the work to keep Jorgenson fresh for the final climb. Matteo followed the right wheels at the right time and can bring home this GC win in the MTT tomorrow!

If we can grab KoM jersey as well, which seems quite likely now, this will be a very successful race considering the fellas we sent here

WTF!?!

3 star favorite and 60th!?!

Thanks for the report (and not only this one!), alex, and commiserations to all those whose leaders did not well today (the game seems to ignore the importance of the TT stat in its pre-race predictions). It's obviously been a great stage for us with Ranaweera netting us our first ever TT victory! He also put himself well in the other classifications which will make up for some nice additional points. So let's get through the last stage without any shenanigans.

Surprisingly good stage 4 from Reis, and then consolidating a GC podium on stage 5. Could have been second if things went a bit better but we'll take it if tomorrow brings nothing special

Probably the best race from Rodrigues in our colours. Very strong on the MTF. Not só good on the TT but I cant complain with 2nd in GC. Congrats on the wins jaxika and kb.

Unfortunately the only times Yates has been exciting this year is when he is excitingly bad. Good news is that this wasn't one of as he managed to bore his way to a solid result, limiting his TT losses to just enough to avoid losing a GC spot. But feels like a little more oomph on stage 3 or 4 and we could have an exciting positive.

Avoiding disasters tomorrow 5th on GC plus some depth from Osorio and Cabrera and 2nd in teams this will be a very solid race, so I shouldn't complain. And much better than some others who melted down. So sympathy to them.

It feels like after years of almostness Ranaweera has had a redemption season. Typical of his run that he has a bad day on stage 4 and then turns around and wins stage 5.

Thanks to Alex for the reports and congrats to MRE, Jorgenson pretty flawless.

First and foremest thanks for reports Alex they are great, even though I now hate you and hope you don't report Galta more this season! Angry:lol:

It's one thing if my riders have a bad result on a normal stage, on a mountain stage but I have always felt I could trust the TT's. If you have a good rider for it they will get good results (over-under 5 spots). This total pissing his own bet from Galta I can't understand, must've been maximal negative RDC from him or some really strange stuff. This MTT was the main reason I put him here. Or is this a MMTT? Is PRL for some reason used because of lenght?

Seems like it will be 15th and 19th (thats not bad from Schultz) so 44 pts, 7,3 pprd is not catastrophic it is just much less than expected/wanted... Still shows that the risk of going HC is worth it as even with really bad results you get ok points :/

I don't have an explanation of what happened there. Almeida and Elosegui, the other 3 star favorites, were also pretty bad.

It's very hard to judge these mountain time - trials based on the profiles that the game provides due to the way the picture is kind of distorted. Still, you can kind of tell that the stage was not as mountainous as they one in Japan for example. The end of the stage is not as high and there are no big inclines sections and there were some sort of flat-ish sectors in it as well.

That being said, I don't know what skills went into doing well here and doing bad. The short distance could have brought some of the prologue randomness into play as well.

First of all thanks to alex again for another great coverage! Also congrats to LLS for winning the final stage in style and to Mre for a dominant performance from Jorgenson (and most probably also safety from relegation)!

6th in the GC is a decent enough result (although I hoped for a bit more), but with all the secondary and depth scoring we should end above 200 points here, already making up for the low- to no-score we'll have in Baltic Chain. Ranaweera has been so strong and consistent this season he could actually end among the top 3 stage racers of the division this year. He clearly has profited from being in some races with rather weak startlists, but he actually used the opportunities which opened there for him. Also a big shout-out to Garibian who just continues to score himself as well as Vauquelin who'll get his white jerseys next season. Our support cast has been an important source of point all season and here as well (we scored 10 PpRDs here even when counting out Ranaweera).

The MTT doesnt went well. Still, the 4th place, the stage win and another minor points contribute to our final top5 goal.

Thanks for the reports ALex and congrats to MRE.

Though MFK wasn't quite as dominant as we hoped in our wildest dreams, this was nonetheless a decently successful trip to Switzerland.

This leaves us with only 2 races to go, and it doesn't look like we'll achieve any of our 5 team goals  Still though, we're in PCT and having a blast.

Thanks for the reports Alex, congrats to MRE on the win, I don't think I'll ever escape Jorgenson.

I think that PRL was more important than TT, but that still doesn't provide the full explanation of Galta's poor performance...

Only good thing about going down to CT - no more nightmares of Jorgenson

Huge race for Jorgenson and our lads! The fact it was a team win goal and should move us firmly away from the drop zone makes it even sweeter. Wishing Elosegui did better, but his lackluster season should help in keeping his renewal wage down for next season

Thanks for entertaining reports!

Carapaz performing as expected on the MTT - very out of character - means he stays in 12th in the GC. Only 10 seconds from 10th, but also 10 seconds from 14th.

Textbook leadout train from Hunter Valley, but Barbari also did a great job to get Sanikwathi to the front. Perhaps Sanikwathi should have trusted Barbari to the end, but 2nd is great.

Thanks for the reports Smile
