No time loss for Reis and Kalaba is the good outcome of this stage. Some minor bonus points from Kalaba's position now, but unfortunately should have been yellow for one stage

That's more like it. Cheeky attack from Rodriguez and stage podium for Meurisse.
Would have liked the stage to be a bit more selective, on the other hand that might have meant Choi would lose time. For now we still have several options for the GC.

Congrats lief, Demare showing he still has it! Ranaweera was attentive by following a potential GC relevant attack and did not lose time, so everything's fine.

Nice to see Lazkano trying to follow an attack, even if it wasn't to be successful he's at least looking active.

Shame to lose the yellow jersey, however very happy with 4th for Vendrame! He's had basically no opportunities to ride for himself this year despite having a pretty interesting profile, so this is very nice to see against some pretty good competition.

Perfect. No time loss in the intermediate stages, now let's give it everything on the MTT.

A quiet day for us. Thought the stage suited Azman well, but it was probably too easy, so we/the AI prioritized Meurisse who rewarded us with a remarkable 65th on the stage.
Oh well, we're 2nd, 4th, and 23rd in the GC. We couldn't have hoped for better going into the MTT.

Generally in really good shape with Faglum Karlsson, but Dlamini and Zouzou losing so much time takes our depth scoring away. Dlamini was sitting in 7th in the GC, but I suppose I’d rather have Faglum Karlsson near the top fighting for our first GC win on the season…
Now onto the mountain TT, which should suit him pretty well given his stamina. Let’s see, it could be a great Tour of Japan for us! It also looks like it might be a big scoring race for Caspi with Simba having a few in the top 25.
Thanks for the reports Alex

A nice anonymous 12th on the stage for Misbah keeps him looking good going into the MTT

Montenegro with another strong showing this season! Frisch also doing great once again for a draft pick! Ranaweera getting into the mix and finish 5th was a nice surprise, although some bonus seconds (or a small gap) would have made it an even better day. Let's hope he can confirm his good days in the hills in the MTT tomorrow.

Unfortunate we come away with a second place there, but it's at least a podium! |

Edmondson with a great podium. Really happy how he is going this race!
Not a bad stage. Was hoping for the win, he was looking good with a few hundred metres left. Not a bad race so far!
Thanks for the reports!

What a surprise! I was getting a little nervous that this was going to end up a waste of a race, but Santiago comes through again! Couldn't be happier with how his season is going and to have a true Ecuadorian leader.
Now it's just time for stage 5 to go our way. Here's to hoping for Rachid and Main in the GC alongside a strong youth result for Vermaerke!

Congrats to jaxika, and how nice to leave the GC lead to us by a second
That was probably as good as it could get here, so let's hope for a boring final stage and get us this GC win (it would be only our second ever and the first non-NC win from Ranaweera for us)! Also another nice performance from Garibian and Vauquelin too.

Nooooo Marcus! So close, but not quite enough. Still though, if he hangs onto 2nd in the GC, it'll be a nice result for us. So close to a win this season, but still waiting for the first GC win in PCT
Congrats to kb for what looks like a win, and thanks for the report. The fog made some of the shots quite cinematic

Stage 5:
As close as it gets to a disaster for Choi today.
Luckily Rodriguez makes up for it. 10th and 16th in the GC is acceptable.

This aged like milk
Congrats on the result from Faglum Karlsson though. 1 second is unlucky, but overall I think you can be happy with the race
Now, that's a proper race!
