We have a circuit of 4 laps, each lap containing three 3rd category climbs, but KoM points will be awarded on them only on the second and fourth lap. Though the hills looks hard enough to favor some attacks and potentially create gaps, the finish is flat, which makes pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/trg.png Demare the big favorite of the day. Let's see if this time it will play in his favor as it certainly didn't yesterday.

The breakaway still had a little over 2 minutes in front of the pack at this stage. Could they make the surprise and hold on?

With the stage win potentially in play for them the breakaway group breaks apart on the 5th categorized climb under pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/tzk.png Kam's impulse. Three riders remain at the front: pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/znf.png Quinn, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/tzk.png Kam and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/ofg.png Ryuki. And they roll over the top of the climb in that order, but they have less than one minute advantage

And the catch is made with 1 kilometer left to climb today. While it was pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/see.png SEE Turtles who made the catch, it was a combined effort of multiple teams to reduced that big gap the breakaway had at the top of the fourth categorized climb. With all the escapees, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Micros/ofg.png Ryuki has all but confirmed the polka dots jersey for the end of the day
