From 5th to 9th and from 9th to 14th. Now we have to make sure we don't fall beneath 17th. Most of our points were scored by Jasper Philipsen while Tadej Pogacar continues to show he is not a competent leader in PCM24. Herbiers and the Dauphine were non-events in terms of scoring as we lacked the riders for those races. With the Tour de France coming up we have to hope for some luck there otherwise relegation looks like a more serious proposition.

With 650 points to the relegation line I feel like it would still be a relatively big surprise to see you go down. Despite a drop in position, you did gain 100 points on the relegation line from the last update - where also a team like Puma was below the line.
Now we have a realistic estimate of teams that could relegate all below the line, while you keep chipping away points from the dangerzone.
Pogacar indeed has been underwhelming, but I don't think +800 points is where we can conclude that he won't be a good leader in the future, although it does seem pretty random whether a rider is 81 or 85 MO in terms of succes, which is very frustrating indeed.
Luckily the riders you are relying on seems to be working well enought to keep a solid projected pointharvest. All of Siric, Philipsen and Ackermann seems to work from decent to good. Schlegel should probably have done more though.

We tried to make a lead out train, but we botched it completely. Matic usually does a good job, not on this occasion though. In the end it wasn't much of a sprint, just damage limitation to score as many points as possible. We need a better train next time otherwise we'll just be sabotaging Jasper again.

Our main focus was on week 1 and week 2. We were able to get 2nd place from Fred on stage 2, but we felt we didn't really get enough from the 1st week. We had stage 8 marked as a big opportunity, but it proved to be too hard in the end. So at that point things looked pretty bleak. But then we took advantage of a somewhat passive peloton to finally score that big result by winning stage 12. Followed it up again on stage 14 and then Sergio had a big day in week 3 in the mountains for a 4th place. Great job by the lads persevering through and finishing the race strongly!

This is the July update which means Tour de France time, but two other races were raced before that. Rund um Koln was a good chance for Jasper Philipsen to score a decent amount of points, but a botched leadout left us going home with crumbs. Clasica San Sebastian was a non event for us as is any race with Schlegel in it. So we finally get to the Tour. Too bad we didn't have a stage win goal for it, because Pascal Ackermann came away with two of them, becoming the first Cedevita rider with multiple Grand Tour stage wins.
Due to a good team performance at the Tour de France we were able to maintain our mid table position in the ranking. In terms of relegation we look fairly safe, but the prospects of moving up look slim.

Pascal delivering in a way we all always want him to but often hasn't in his career. Not a bigger stage to do it on and always awesome to come out of a lower-expectations GT with plenty to shout about and a surplus of points relative to expectations

This was one of our better all around team performances on the cobbles this season. Ivan was well protected and well positioned throughout the race which made things a lot easier for him in the final part of the race. Yevgeniy also showed well by finishing in the top 30.
