Can't be unhappy with two guys in the breakaway, but a bit worrying with no one in top 100 on the stage.

24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

That stage did not go as I was hoping. Both in general racing and especially for my team.

Probably worked to our favour, but not sure the way the hilly stages have gone is ideal from a gameplay perspective. Have to hope we a) don't see huge gaps in the TTT and b) don't drop Peak, in which case we may be able to hang on to a couple of riders in the top 15 or 20. Had higher hopes for Errazkin here but will take points however we can get them. |

Weird result from our POV. Positive aspect is that there are some sort of splits and the front group is mixed through in terms of teams quite a bit.
Calmejane making the group and Lopez not feels very weird from our team and doesnt make much sense but i prefer it this way over the obvious way quite a bit after the first stage.
Not sure how much time Evonik is going to lose. I kinda regret not sending Plapp or some of the Mo/TT guys that were needed in the Tour as that could give valuable extra seconds but i think he looks set to finish like top 8 or so at least unless he gets dropped. And i would have taken a top 8 before the race for sure.
Imo Mohoric and Gidich are still the top two favourites although im pretty much clueless for TTTs.

Lasinis and Lutsenko with no time losses, that's good. Only worry is Lutsenko getting dropped in TTT, but Lasinis will hang on so should be a decent result probably

Yes! Yes! Yes! Exactly what we wanted from this one. Expecting to hemorrhage time in the TTT but a stage win and the points classification is as much as I could hope for on these parcours. Démare showing he is a couple years away from the retirement home yet.

No fucking way
Evonik don't have a strong TTT team, and it shows as they lose 34 seconds! How will this affect Calmejane's chance of retaining the GC lead? We'll find out soon.
I was reading through the report and thought you were trolling as Demare was already ahead, not realizing he could have been dropped from his own team. Then i saw that Lotto was fast enough to beat him and again didnt realize that Vasyliv could have been dropped. Having two contenders lose out by being dropped is crazy. With Demare its easily understandable with a glaring tt weakness but Vasyliv getting dropped is just dumb. I feel for Laurens there!
This is easily one of the most unexpected victories for me. Always hated this race and felt like a top ten would be nice already. I dont even care that i "wasted" Lopez RDs here as who knows whether Calmejane even attacks if Lopez isnt there...
Also lol at the fact that we finish last in the TTT once again and lowkey the fact that our ttt is so bad probably was key to ensure that Calmejane didnt get dropped to lose valuable seconds

Thanks for the reports, alex, and congrats to knockout for a surprising GC win as well as Caspi for taking the TTT!
We were here and scored some points with Costious 2nd place in the KoM as the highlight, that's about it.

Wrong reporter kandesbunzler
The race started pretty well for us, but the outcome was terrible.
Congratulations, knockout! Evonik the team to beat now

A classic Lithuania performance from us, very anonymously getting a not bad result with 3 in the top 21 and 2nd in teams. A little better in the TTT would have been nice, think we under-performed our capabilities there.
Thanks to Abhi for the reports, congrats to Caspi on the TTT win and Knockout on race win, number 3 for the month.

Well, that was a success. Too bad Lutsenko got dropped a little bit, but with Lasinis not losing time on the hills not a disaster. Loads of depth points, that was probably a 50 pprd race for us, which is exactly what you want when you send both Lutsenko and Kmieliauskas
