The Berlin race is back to C1 status so we should see some stronger sprinters at the startlist. Riabushenko is not at the start as McCornick are not here, missing out on the chance to make it three in a row!
And indeed we will see some strong sprinters at the start. Three of the biggest sprinters in the history of the game will be at the start: Ewan, Coquard and Grosu.
Ewan and Coquard recently battled it out in Tropicale Amissa Bongo, with the Frenchman taking two stages and the Aussie one. On paper, it's hard to look at anyone beyond these two for the victory here, but sprints are always open for surprises!
| Rider | FL | RS | ST | SP | AC | Ewan | 75 | 71 | 73 | 83 | 81 | Coquard | 72 | 72 | 69 | 83 | 81 | Grosu | 72 | 69 | 73 | 82 | 79 | Dainese | 76 | 76 | 75 | 81 | 82 | Zabel | 74 | 70 | 74 | 81 | 79 | Peak | 80 | 77 | 73 | 80 | 78 | Manninen | 73 | 73 | 69 | 80 | 78 | Liu | 74 | 69 | 76 | 80 | 80 | Einhorn | 74 | 71 | 71 | 80 | 78 | Walls | 74 | 71 | 73 | 80 | 78 | Jakobsen | 74 | 73 | 75 | 80 | 80 | Hodeg | 72 | 74 | 69 | 79 | 78 | Willwohl | 73 | 67 | 71 | 79 | 78 | Perera | 71 | 73 | 69 | 79 | 80 | Adomaitis | 75 | 74 | 66 | 79 | 78 | Bol | 76 | 77 | 75 | 79 | 77 | Kamberaj | 75 | 73 | 73 | 79 | 78 | Kennett | 75 | 76 | 73 | 79 | 78 | Thijssen | 75 | 70 | 74 | 79 | 81 |
It's a flat classic so the flat beasts will always look for opportunities to make a late attack to fool the pack. Ekoi's Quispe and Katrasnik are leading the list and they are probably the only ones from it who won't be on lead-out today so not a lot of things holding them from putting up some fireworks.
| Rider | FL | RS | ST | SP | AC | Quispe | 81 | 61 | 63 | 67 | 74 | Katrasnik | 81 | 76 | 72 | 63 | 72 | Veyhe | 80 | 71 | 66 | 56 | 78 | Culey | 79 | 76 | 77 | 66 | 70 | Rickaert | 78 | 75 | 75 | 75 | 73 | Wisniowski | 78 | 73 | 72 | 71 | 73 | Quicibal | 78 | 71 | 69 | 62 | 66 | Dekker | 77 | 77 | 81 | 77 | 76 | Girmay | 77 | 76 | 76 | 77 | 76 | Kooistra | 77 | 69 | 73 | 76 | 76 | Medvedev | 77 | 77 | 77 | 71 | 70 | English | 77 | 71 | 72 | 70 | 73 | Castrillo | 77 | 72 | 75 | 70 | 73 | Yzeiraj | 77 | 74 | 74 | 62 | 71 |

Thanks for the preview, alex! You already pretty much nailed our hopes here, so we only have to add "Go rouleurs!".

Thanks alex for the preview!
Liu as first option and Veyhe as backup. Top 10 should be a reasonable goal.

Looking forward to seeing how we play it out here. Doubt that Kennett will get a train which could free up Medvedev!

One heck of a sprint field! Not sure we'll see anything in the forms of late attacks, but I love seeing a breakaway win!

Did not realize Riabushenko had form here. Still given the field just as well as he would barely have made the favorites list.

It's Einhorn time, hopefully he can get a top 10 as we need the points to try and escape the drop zone.

Would assume one of the top 5 can win it but just such a lottery based on the very good flat lineup from Assa I'll take Dainese |

A bit too large and strong a field to really be too hopeful that Jakobsen or someone like Castrillo can deliver a noteworthy result. Fingers crossed though!

Hoping between Peak and Dekker we have all scenarios covered, potential for this to be a very impactful race from a promotion perspective with all the key contenders here bar Zalgiris. |

Bol has not broken the top 10 in his last 2 outings, maybe this time?
Thanks for the preview alex.

Thanks for the preview Alex, hoping Willwohl can keep up his surprisingly good form without a lead out train. We’re in that critical part of the season where any points are welcome!
