Amazing to follow the aggressive riding from all of Ioannidis, Kiriakidis and Vine and then Soulious picking up a solid sprint in the end. Really nice to see! It's likely the last stage where we are capable of scoring points.
Can only hope for a lot of activity tomorrow - Vine would be preferably.

Always scared to not see Reis in the pictures but rolling over the line in s.t. is good enough

Keeping yellow another day is a bonus. Hoping we can try our luck with Williams up the road on the more difficult stages here. |

Salby on a sensational KoM mission Certainly very unexpected! Also Williams with a sensational stage result. We obviously take it, happy to have good stage placings here, before we will drop out of it whenever better climbers join the breakaway fun, and the TT is a problem for Williams
Congratulations on a massive, massive win, roturn! |

Kiriakidis was out front, but never realistically strong enough to do anything. Vine had a good stage despite his relatively low stamina. Unfortunately he’s a bad TT’er, so can’t be used in the GC. Gotta cross my fingers that Ioannidis Can do a good TT and survive for minor GC points in the end. Not particularly realistic though.

Jeez.
How did that happen? You guys mixed the Phinney/Bernal stats I guess?
Was more afraid of Phinney being around 8th to 15th only instead of dominating. With his early attack, I thought, he seems to feel good today, didn`t expect it to last till the end with him winning the sprint even.
Even weirder to see Bernal struggling and only in group 3. He still is the favourite imo seeing it`s a ITT and another climb, where he surely won`t be beaten again.
Though Phinney is apparently around and focussed.
Schelling sensational as well. He did not need to work for Phinney a lot as he was on the attack all climb. So he smartly went for his own result.
Thanks for the report. |

I thought you needed stamina in PCM24
