Two bad months in a row. Its time to bounce back and we are hoping April is the time to do that. Strong squads going to races and also the return of Bryan Coquard. Here is our race attendance for April!

A hard but interesting race. A flat stage, TTT, Hilly stages and an ITT. A hard one to call and hard to decide on who to send. In the end stage wins are the main goal. Carlos is our GC guy but not expecting a huge result. Kelderman is there to try and go for a stage while the rest of the squad is really there just for the TTT. Howson though should have a chance in the ITT.

GP Wallonie
GP Wallonie is a race we have been aiming at for the hills squad this season. Edmondson had a strong podium finish last season which shows us the race suits him and Kelderman is a similar rider and should also do well. We are really hoping for some strong points in Belgium!

Lisbon Classic
The final race of the month sees the return of 2nd place in the PCT rider standings, Bryan Coquard. He finished 4th here last season and we are hoping he can improve on that and at least get a podium. It clashes with another big one day sprint race so hopefully that means the competition isn't as strong as it could be. Only time will tell!
I wish I had something else to say but another small month for us. Only 9 RDs though. Still not the greatest amount of points.
Tour of Slovenia
A race that we had high hopes for. Seemed like we should have been able to achieve much more then what we thought. We had Vanthourenhout in the breakaway and that was our best part of stage 1. Our whole team got dropped and lost at least 2'55s. The TTT was not any better. Finished in 18th place losing even more time. Stage 3 was a bit of a redemption day for us. A hilly finish which Kelderman was targeting for the race. He was in a great position with Carlos Rodriguez with him. Kelderman managed to sprint to 3rd place and Carlos got 8th in the end. Both scoring some much needed points for us. Kelderman went on the attack near the end of stage 4. Chasing to the breakaway. He just wasn't able to hold on. Still finished well and within 2 minutes to the front in 18th place. The last stage was an ITT and even though Howson and Rodriguez are strong TT riders, they just couldn't convert. Rodriguez was our best in GC and finished in 50th overall over 13 minutes back.
GP Wallonie
A race that we hoped would finish with a strong result. Edmondson had a great finish last year and we wanted him to race well again! Kelderman just wasn't able to finish in the front group. Edmondson could though and he finished in 6th place and Kelderman in 13th.
Lisbon Classic
The return of Bryan Coquard! Its a very hilly race though so not the greatest route for him. Coquard ended up in 17th place as the same time as the front group. He just wasn't quite fast enough or close enough to get into that top 10. Still a great return for him!

April Rankings
Another small month for us. 113 points from 9 RDs. We move down 2 positions but with the return of Coquard, May should be a really exciting and hopefully high scoring month!
Coquard has returned after his month off. With a 17th place in Portugal, He is hoping he can improve in his next race in Gabon.

A race almost designed for a rider like Coquard. 2 prologue like ITTs and 3 sprint stages. He is targeting the overall here. Minimum requirement is a stage win, top 10 GC and hopefully the points jersey. Howson and Marryatt join him here to target the ITTs and A. Edmondson as his lead out rider.

Tour of the Middle East
Another C2 race and basically the same team as it will always be for C2 races. Power leads the young guys here with 2 flat stages and a hilly and mountain to finish, a top 10 in GC is the goal but would prefer something higher up thanks to his great energy stats. Mudgway is the sprinter here so hopefully a top 10 or 2 in the opening days. ll other guys will help where they can but mainly here for experience.

Tour of America
A really important race for our season and for Carlos Rodriguez. He has been struggling in races prior to this so this is an important turning point for him. He should be competitive in the U25 classification and maybe even fight for the top 10 in GC thanks to his good all round stats. Bennett joins him as a stage hunter. Afewerki is the sprinter here but with no leadout he will have to work for himself. Power also joins as key mountain support for Carlos along with Thompson. Marryatt wants to target the 2 ITTs. A really important race for us here so we are hoping to see some success in a race that we have done quite well in during previous seasons.

Tour of the Battenkill
Finally a PTHC cobbles race. Same team sent as all other cobbled races this season. Best we can hope for are points so that is the goal!
The two races already finished looked good for you! The ToA lineup should offer some nice options both in the GC and in stage hunting, but especially a U25 run by Rodriguez. Coquard is a top favourite in every flat classic, so P-T is essentially all about preventing a disappointment. Finally Battenkill is probably the only race of the month without a reasonable contender.
@KB - I think in the end it was a really successful month! Lots of points and a higher average points then what we had already. Really great and will be good to see a rankings update!
May Review
La Tropicale Amissa Bongo
One of the best races of our season! An excellent start to an important month for us! 3 stage wins, 1 podium and 2nd place in the GC. Coquard sprinted well to 2 stage wins, making his total stage wins 6 for the season. Howson had an incredible final TT and took the win, however missed out on the GC win by 1 second. A lot of important points for us here!
Tour of the Middle East
The Tour of the Middle East is a C2 race that we have high hopes for! Stage 1 was not great. Stage 2 meant Mudgway got a great podium. Stage 3 was a hill stage and Power was able to hold onto the main group and lose no time. The final stage is a big mountain stage! Power finished 5th in the stage and takes 5th in the GC. A great finish and some great points for us from the C2 squad.
Tour of America
We enjoyed our 6th places in this race. 5 x 6th places in the 14 day ToA. We did get a great win with Afewerki getting his first win for the team on stage 11. He had an excellent sprint and finished with quite a large gap on the rest of the sprinters. Carlos had a fantastic race in the GC. He wore the white jersey for most of the race. In the end he finished in 13th position in the General Classification. An excellent result for him!
Paris Tours
A decent race for us. We definitely expected better! Coquard managed 15th place. It was a hard long race so he got the best result he could get.
Tour of the Battenkill
Edmondson got into the breakaway, he was able to hold on and do quite well. He wasn't able to get points but Vanthourenhout and Skala were able to get us some points in a race where that is all we expected.
After a fantastic May, we want to continue that into June.

Carlos is our big guy here. We are really hoping for a top 10 in GC. Wilco could also get a strong result with the hill stages seeming to suit him quite well. The Time trials could go well for Howson as well and also be the difference for Carlos Rodriguez to get a high GC.

A sponsor goal for us. We really want a top 5 but the PTHC level will make that quite difficult. Rodriguez is the leader and with 2 TTs, one a hilly TT and mountain finishes, Carlos should be able to achieve quite a good finish. A top 5 could be really doable! No sprinter here but Duyvesteyn will try to get a good result in the hill stage.

Berlin ProRace
A C1 classic with Coquard here with Afewerki, Edmondson and Mudgway as a leadout as well as some excellent flat road riders. We are hoping for a really strong finish here and definitely could achieve that!
