Think you read the wrong report. Remco won and is now leading the race.
Holly hell what a performance by Remco. He is in the lead, but I think it will be hard for him to keep it with so many good time-trialists behind him. Still, a podium could be a realistic goal for the final stage.

Congrats on another Remco win, akex! Ranaweera is doing really well here, a GC top 10 should be in the books now. Küng, Garibian, Vauquelin and Akhmaevi are in positions to add some nice GC depth and U25 points. Let's do it now!

We went in the break and scored a few KoM points. That's the best we could salvage so good job Casillas!

Decent result on the difficult stuff. A top 10 could be possible for Ioannidis with a good final TT. A decent depth so far too.

Decent prologue by Leknessund, but the time loss in stage two is pretty bad.

Those were some odd tactics by us, Stussi’s attack to take off the pressure ended up not amounting to much when he could have probably paced for Dunbar so he didn’t lose as much time. Oh well, at least he’s also well placed in the top-10 for now.
Wirtgen quiet again is odd, but he’s only 47” down so will probably blitz it to the GC win tomorrow. 37” for Dunbar to make up on Evenpoel and Bernal is probably asking too much while also keeping Wittgenstein at bay, so I think best we can really hope for here sadly is 4th.
Thanks for the reports and pls nerf Evenpoel and Bernal

Decent, decent.
Being in that main chase group is all I needed. 4th in GC with chances to remain there and not the biggest to climb higher due to all 3 being decent time trialists.
But 4th is a good performance here with top10s on each stage as well then.
Hessmann as 27th GC showed spirit here fighting for the better groups to remain chances in U25 competition and a decent GC himself. Just as I was hoping this season.
Congrats to Evenepoel. Perfect race for him and he played it even better beating top riders such as Bernal. Will be interesting to see if he can overperform and keep the gap.
Thansk for the report! |

Decent final stage showing from Cataford and we got him and Kwiatkowski in Top 50.
Thanks for the reports

That's 3 days of Oomen being just below his usual form, meaning 15th is where we deserve to be. Congrats Rabobank and thanks for the reports!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Very happy with this result. Ioannidis could have done slightly better on a good day, but it was still OK. Kiriakidis with a good day makes up for the 2-3 seconds that Ioannidis could have done better.
Great depth performance all around.

This race won't make our highlights reel at the end of the season that's for sure. Thanks for the reports Abhi and congrats alex!

Congrats alex on another Remco masterclass here and Eden for another Dunbar win against the Vesuvio duo!
It's actually been a great race for us with Ranaweera in 7th and 5 other riders delivering some great depth scoring on top, especially King and Garibian did pretty well here too. If I counted correctly it's actually our best race of the season so far.
Thanks for the reports to Abhi!

Lost a spot to Wirtgen, which is totally fine I guess.
Top5, each stage around top5 and 2nd in U25, 4th in P.
Solid enough performance here.
Thanks for the reports and congrats to Dunbar`s dominance. |

What a ride! Once of the soingneurs must have slipped a Valium into Wirtgen’s water bottle here, otherwise what a performance from Dunbar! 2 from 2 against Wirtgen and Würtz is huge and a good chance of never happening again. A real shame he lost that small amount of time to Evenepoel and Bernal, otherwise this would have been the absolute perfect race for him. 3rd is almost disappointing considering, but a great race nonetheless.
Stüssi capping it off with a quiet top-10 GC as well is great to see - he doesn’t have a heap of sole-leading opportunities this season, so it’s good to see that he can still do a job as a lieutenant.
Congrats to Alex on another great showing from your man and thanks for the reports!

Wasn't expecting Remco to be this strong in the time - trial as well
In the end that's quite a comfortable victory for him. Indeed, a fantastic season for him so far, but I think this is the last race where he will score big. He should still score decent in some of the next ones, but nothing of this magnitude and there could be some real stinkers as well like Nederland.
Despite leading both the individual and the team rankings after two months, this is ours and Remco's first outright victory of the season. So a little bit of history in the making here.
Thanks for the reports!
