Russo is a hidden gem there I think could have some really strong races with the right planning this season |

Russo is really nice indeed and I'm curious if your plan with Vogt works out as nicely as you think. Signing him seems like a rookie move going after that high main stat but i know youve given it quite some thought

Thanks, I was close on some others that I had hoped would be presented at the same time. But alas

I hope so, I like sprinters with hills, and puncheurs with sprint. So he should fit well

Nice talent in Gomez. Can Russo find the sweet spot in races?
Not sure about Vogt. Maybe the new MM stat makes a difference?

I love Russo. I Think he is a very good CT fit. Also a brilliant talent domestique!

Still lots of questions, I've never been good with pure sprinters, so I hope a punchy one fits me better. Vogt, it's a hope, a bit of MM and a lot of Stamina. Fingers crossed

Couldn't find the million needed for a top talent, so had to get a domestique.
I really hope Russo can do aswell as others believe

One of the most shocking news lately is that David Beckham, yes you read that right, David Beckham has been loaned to the French-Colombian cycling team!

Oh, not that David Beckham. This David Beckham

Joining on loan from Sony Force India. We are happy to welcome him for a year
David Beckham Elkatohchoongo (22) 20.000| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | 71 | 56 | 58 | 60 | 66 | 67 | 66 | 60 | 65 | 57 | 68 | 68 | 62 | 72 | 22 |
We are happy to have the youngster join us for a season as a part of his development. We do not expect a lot, but are looking forward to having him ride with us. A good loan deal

We can cobble, we can ride short, we can finish, and we can loan more!
Time for the team to make a splash and announce 4 signings, some of the we are really excited about! Not only are there some great riders joining, they are pretty cheap aswell. Without further ado, let me present
Bert Van Lerberghe (33) 75.000| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | 73 | 59 | 62 | 65 | 65 | 73 | 72 | 72 | 76 | 74 | 71 | 67 | 64 | 67 | 33 |
The big hunt for someone who could lead us on the northern classics ends with Bert Van Lerberghe. The experienced Belgian promoting last year with Duvel has decided to stop drinking and start driving! We expect him to improve now that he will finally be sober! The hunt for a cobblestones rider was a long one, and while Bert was not the first rider we looked at we are very happy about the signing
Please make the race short
Markus Kopfauf (29) 60.000| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | 69 | 62 | 65 | 67 | 65 | 67 | 74 | 67 | 52 | 74 | 73 | 70 | 68 | 81 | 29 |
Markus might not look like much at first, but he is one of the worlds best prologue riders! He might not like if the race becomes too long, but there are enough short time trials for him to really thrive this season! Prologue ability is combined with a nice sprint to make Markus perfect for the races combing a short time trial and flat stages. We are delighted to have him on board!
Sergey Luchshenko (31) 60.000| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | 72 | 65 | 70 | 75 | 63 | 77 | 72 | 78 | 63 | 75 | 75 | 71 | 72 | 65 | 31 |
One of the first names added to our shortlist before the season, and we are beyond delighthed to have Sergey on board! Great puncheur and a great sprinter that we expect great results from this season. He did not have the best year last year, but that is forgotten now.
Kiaan Watts (24) 25.000| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | 65 | 66 | 66 | 65 | 66 | 63 | 73 | 69 | 60 | 64 | 66 | 74 | 73 | 64 | 24 |
Another rider, this time the young Kiwi Kiaan Watts, joins us for a year to learn in the CT. Kiaan will spend his race days as a domestique and we do not really expect him to score any big results. The most important thing for him is to ride and learn

Luchshenko is a steal, but somehow these type of riders haven't been highly valued this season. Sometimes they are impossible to get a hold of

So glad that Bert has found a loving home, hope he does the business for you, like he did for us! I missed that you'd signed Luchshenko, echoing SotD that he is an absolute steal!

I hope he will be. I wanted him since my first look in the database, and seeing the result Rok Korosec had last year I wanted a rider in the same mold and Luschenko was the closest I could find

Some more nice signings, congrats That's the hills - in particular the hilly sprints - the cobbles and prologues covered already, seems like you still got what it takes to be successful

One of more underappreciated in Kopfauf and one of more disappointing riders ever in Luchsenko. Hopefully 10th time the charm for him

Congrats on Kopfauf! One of my favourite riders in the game! Excellent signing for that wage. Should bring you some nice points this season in the prologues!
Thanks for taking Watts as well! Hope he support your riders well!

Its time for the big one(s)!
We have been proud to present great riders til now, but lets be honest; it's time to get the big one! We have signed 4 new riders, and will start off with 2 loanies, another frenchman and the a signing we have really been looking forward to announcing. A rider that in our opinion got nothing to do in CT! We are really looking forward to seeing him in Peugeot-Bancolombia this season
Carl-Frederik Bevort (22) 50.000| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | 70 | 55 | 59 | 63 | 68 | 66 | 69 | 66 | 65 | 66 | 70 | 67 | 60 | 70 | 22 |
Gustav Wang (22) 75.000| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | 69 | 59 | 65 | 70 | 70 | 68 | 69 | 66 | 61 | 63 | 66 | 65 | 65 | 69 | 22 |
While we are glad to announce that Wang and Bevort will ride for us this season we have to admit the singings are mostly to facilitate another transfer. Dosen't really matter though, they are here and we are really looking forward to seeing their development. Great talents that we are going to be proud to have helped on their way to the stars!
Benjamin Thomas (30) 88.000| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | 73 | 56 | 61 | 66 | 78 | 75 | 73 | 70 | 64 | 74 | 79 | 64 | 66 | 79 | 30 |
Benjamin Thomas are joining us for in an expensive transfer, costing us 600.000€, he does however bring some skills that we are really looking forward to see this season. Thomas will be one of the best time trial riders in the CT, and getting that from a Frenchman is a dream for the team. Not only a great time trialer, but a good sprinter aswell, which should make Thomas one of the big favorites in stage races with time trials and flat stages. This would've been a really big announcment if it wasn't for another rider joining at the same time, but we believe that Thomas will bring us some great results this season!
Fredrik Strand Galta (33) 250.000| FL | MO | MM | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | 68 | 80 | 76 | 72 | 72 | 77 | 78 | 75 | 51 | 62 | 65 | 65 | 69 | 70 | 33 |
When you are a new team you don't really expect to be able to sign the biggest stars, rather you hope that you will be able to get some good scorers and build from there. We however wanted to aim big, and we hit! Galta is one of the big stars in cycling, scoring over 700 points in PT last year for Carlsberg. We cincerely believe we have gotten not a big one, but THE big one and are excited for the season to start! Galta will be leading the team whereever he shows up and we hope he will tear the division apart!

Some solid signings for a new CT manager. Guess you must have collected some experience anywhere before?
A few ageing veterans, that should help you immediately. Galta obviously a big signing in that division and so is Thomas or Lerberghe.
Wonder where this squad turns into in the next offseason. |
