posting here after not finding any search result clue anywhere (i saw one very old unanswered post on this website about this issue but i don't seem to find it back)
i have the following issue: when i design custom gloves (pex, same for bottle and socks and helmets) and put the proper file in the proper place, i still get the standard (yellow in this case due to team preset colour) lay over design on top of them. https://i.postimg...-issue.png
it's clearly a base game issue as it happens without any mods too.
here is where i put custom gloves for TIS team (tarteletto) (as an example)
S:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2024\3D\Cyclists\Cloth\Team\tis
when i subscribe to daily DB, the mod files are added here (and when i add custom gloves here, it's the same issue)
S:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\2494350
clearly the model comes from here:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager 2024\3D\Cyclists\Cloth\Team\XXX
i've tried clearing up the model in the main Cyclist folder (in files like Cyc_XXXXXX_XXXXXX_00_S) , and my best guess is that i should fiddle with the "TextureComposition" file... (but removing stuff here removed the custom glove design from the team's folder, keeping just the cyanide one)
<Gloves>
<Position>
<Left>8</Left>
<Top>1280</Top>
<Width>400</Width>
<Height>464</Height>
</Position>
<MaskFile>Gloves</MaskFile>
<Suffix>_Gloves</Suffix>
<ColoredIfMissing>1</ColoredIfMissing>
</Gloves>
i just don't get where the model is (STILL) appearing from, since i have tried erasing the model's data from all places i found it... (by which i mean i edited and blanked out in the files the parts with the glove base model (as an example))
i wonder if anybody else has encountered this (i guess yes, seeing as it was the same in previous pcm's in my experience)
i'm not (yet) into coding, so i'd appreciate it if anybody has a clue as to where to start...
OR other way around: do you manage to not have this issue when you make (for example) custom gloves? If yes, can you share what exactly you do?
cheers and thanks in advance Edited by N-Riz on 06-04-2025 23:40
