My life would be so much easier if it wasn't for SKA. Congrats, ember!
2nd and 4th is of course a good start to the race regardless. Leung mostly seems to have the upper hand against Chavanne this year after it was the other way around last season. |

Sprints on this game are so frustrating at times!!!
Not sure whats happened to the JURA train looked to be plenty of room to not get boxed but he looked "stuck on follow" of the guy ending the leadout just a stupid PCM bug
Cedevita controlling the sprint well got lucky for sure but Rajkovic won by a fair margin
Lots of sprinters not really involved due to the knock on effect of Jura blocking half the road so a fairly tame sprint to report on |

Don't know why I even hired Manninen when such huge names as Hamza and Ganjkhanlou do the same or better for far cheaper

It's been a while since we did something good. Glad to see the efforts of TGH and the team didn't go to waste and the lead out worked well. Sucks for Jura on the other hand, but at this stage we're desperate for points.

No strong TT riders in our team so nothing to write home about on Stage 1. Stage 2 however, a very different success with a really amazing 2nd from Hesters! A smart ride and the strength to hold on to 2nd also.

Looked like Willems was in a decent position with around 1.5km to go, but just not strong enough to turn it into something tangible. Which is obviously fine, his time will come in a few years. In the short term, I hope we send someone into the breakaway tomorrow.
Congrats red, nice win for Rajovic! And thanks of course for the report, jt!

Congratulations, red! Big win for Rajovic
Happy to see Kragh have another day as the GC leader. Kind of expected it before the stage, but the threat from the breakaway felt like one it was very easy to lose the jersey to. We got lucky there! |

Would have been great to take the leaders jersey, but I can't really complain as we also landed the KOM temporarily. Soulious also taking another point in the sprint makes this a very good day for us. Much better than anticipated.
I would have expected us to maybe strike lucky in the Prologue as having 3 solid guys sometimes make for a fluke result - but I had exactly no expectations for this stage.
We can only hope that we will keep on trying for the break. Whether 2nd in the GC means tomorrow will be a no-show is a big question though. Hopefully not given that the GC spot is definately lost tomorrow regardless of how we play it.

While this sprint didn't go well for most - the SEE Turtles headquarters is screaming for joy. Ganjkhanlou shows why he deserved an investment from the CT draft last season and looks prepped for a great season next year at full strength.
We didn't expect him to score outside of automatic finishing points really this year, but a podium in a PTHC sprint deserves recognition! We can't wait to welcome him back into the team for next year!

Good job for Vosekalns losing some extra time, now he will not be considered a threat in the breakaway

I was lowkey hoping for Quita to try something this stage, so it is nice to see him attack with 2km to go. A 6th place is not a great reward for his effort but better than nothing. From tomorrow on it's all about McNulty! |

Just realising how many former riders of mine are here. Van Aert, Cerny, Senni, Novak all had multiple seasons with us.
Anyway, let's have some mountains!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Wow, what a result for us Calmejane finally performs like I hope he would do, didn't expected it in this race to be honest. And again a stellar performance from Wouters, this PCM version really likes him.
Thanks jt for the reports!

Hmm. Mixed positioning from Meintjes here, near the front at one occasion, a bit too far behind for my liking on a few others. We got all our main guys in the front group, which is good in principle but almost not ideal for breakaway purposes. We'll see how that turns out over the next few days.
Congrats Laurens, really nice win for Calmejane on a stage well suited to him. And thanks for the nice report, jt! If I may make one request, for me it would be great to have the screenshot of the stage profile from the screen just before the race where you can see the intermediate and mountain sprints. It helps to know what's at stake for the breakaway and also serves as a good orientation where we currently are in a stage. I'd personally appreciate that, if it's not too much trouble

Thank you for another report, jt! Happy to see Kragh have another and final day in the jersey. Had hopes underway there he would target the stage, especially when he went for the bonus seconds, but propably emptied himself for it combined with the hills.
Good to have Novak finish in the top 10, I just really hope he gets the positioning/AI stoff right on the next stage. For him to have a go at GC here, he has to be in the front rows starting on stage 4. |

Too bad we couldn’t keep 2nd in the GC for another day, but we always knew it was the likely outcome. Varotsos showing the colors was nice to see.
Also keeping the KOM for snorker stage is a good result, albeit small points.
It Will be interesting to see if we will throw Soulious in the break tomorrow. He won’t win, but could snatch some KOM points also.
