[C2] Monterrey TTT
Welcome to the 12th edition of the Monterrey TTT-
The route is 46.7 km long and is mostly flat, though there are some smaller bumps and a bigger one with the second time split on its top.
The race has a long history as the annual TTT classic for the CT teams and winning here was often a good omen for the promotion chances of the winning teams. Three teams have won here twice: Oz Cycling Project and Generali are defunct now, but Genii Hyundai N Cycling is here to become the first three time winner.

Of all the races this year, I want this win BAD! I think it'll be a great battle still between a Genii, Gjensidige, Glanbia and us I think. We've done well with our top squad but hopefully the uphill sections don't slow us too much.
Top 5 is the official goal thankfully which allows us to build next year, assuming we absolutely don't fall apart - but looking forward to this race.

With no weak link in the team, we actually might be able to top 5. On the other hand, we don't have any top-level fire power, which means we could also be outside top 10...
Thanks for the preview

Like seancoll said, we want this win BAD! aswell Haha
We've had the luck on our side in fights against the clock so far this season. Just hoping that continues.
Thank you kandesbunzler26 for the preview

Ah this old foe- it's the hill/mountain that usually undoes Glanbia. More than ever this year though we have some guys who can also climb.
I'd take a top 3 all day long...good luck all
Thanks KB

Top 10 is the goal here, which in theory we should be strong enough to achieve. In practice, our TTT performances have been pretty inconsistent, and I'm worried we might completely fall apart on the hill. We have some good climbers in the line up, but also some really poor ones, so I hope they manage to stick together. In theory we have a pretty balanced set up with no real super star TTers compensated for by decent depth, but again, it hasn't really translated into success so far. Let's see, anything within the top 10 and I'll be very happy to have achieved at least one goal.

Thanks KB for the preview! Should be a close battle for the win here, we can witness it from the second row.

Spoiling the C2 party! Won't repeat last years win, but we could feasibly get on the podium which is good return from any C2 race as a PCT team.

We came storming back in the 3rd section, but the gap on the hill was just too much. Still a great result and a successful goal race. After lots of low scorers... this is exactly what it needed to be.
Many congrats to Genii and Glanbia!

3 wins in 4 years for us in Monterrey - this will go down in the history books. Too bad that I was in PCT last year, otherwise it would've been 4 in a row
Thanks for the report

Catastrophic performance from us, no two ways about it. Miles off the pace in the end after a decent start. Congrats Ivan, well deserved win.

5 seconds from top 5... Oh well, I guess it could have been worse, I just got my hope up since the team performed well in the first half of the race
