Thought Gerts might actually be able to pull of a good attack towards the end as he looked quite quiet when the first moves started, but it wasn't meant to be. It was always going to be difficult to repeat last year's feat so I'm very happy with the podium.

Disappointed not to see a better result from Van den Berg as he seemed to have a good race.

Hollmann in his first monument break of the career, and Rutsch in 25th is about where I hoped he would be.
That ends our cobbles campaign with not a single overperformance, which is disappointing but also isn't many points lost compared to an ideal spring.

Love to see Pedersen make history, congrats Grieg again! Grin
He should be doing this, and he delivered.

Hey! Apologies for my absence!
Between being busy and basically constantly sick, I feel behind schedule to follow the early races live, and then my ADHD ass kicked in and faltered under that ever-growing backlog again.
I'm back for the Giro and hopefully everything after, and I want to reiterate I'm still very much committed to this game long-term if you want me around.
