My prediction of dropping back to 14th was spot on, a shame In general I can't be mad at Higuita with a decent hilly race and fifth in GC before the TT. But if this race is supposed to be for puncheurs/punchy sprinters I believe it would be better to work with the F1 bonus seconds system and/or have a prologue/epilogue that is rather short instead of 10 km+ Congratulations to those doing well, and thank you for seven great reports, Ulrich!

I don't think we wanted this to be PRL race, so I am hesitant to go shorter than this on the IT. I do agree that the hilly one of the PN/TA should get the extended bonus seconds next year, if we like how that works on other races this year. Maybe we just do 1 more hilly stage and 1 less sprint to give the HI guys a bit more time.
11th is pretty poor from De Bie looking at some of the riders ahead, but unsurprising given his performances in similar races last year. Mansouri was surprisingly strong so will take the unexpected depth points there, even if Fernandes and Craddock may have underperformed by comparison.
Congrats roturn, great to see talent development paying off for quite a few teams this season!
The youngsters show! First Pogi takes PN, and now we get the puncheur talents stepping up and announcing their (future) dominance. Congrats to both Fastned and Xero on their nurturing efforts finally paying off big time.
For Madouas, it would've been P13 instead of P20 if not for that unfortunate split on a stage where he should've been in the sprint mix, so I can't be too happy about that and only one good sprint result.
Gross did well to get a Top 5, and that's about all there is to say about this.
Thank you UU.
Hey! Apologies for my absence!
Between being busy and basically constantly sick, I feel behind schedule to follow the early races live, and then my ADHD ass kicked in and faltered under that ever-growing backlog again.
I'm back for the Giro and hopefully everything after, and I want to reiterate I'm still very much committed to this game long-term if you want me around.
Happy New Year!
