Super interesting rider. Looking forward to see your development plans with him. Congrats!
Indeed, hopefully I get to have some fun with him. An expensive 'toy'
seancoll wrote:
A great pick-up and happy he's heading your way. Lots of different, great options to go for with him too!
I think he should be a good fit here. Thanks

Number 1 talent this year IN MY HEART. Will be forever undervalued and consistently overachieving with SR path
Stage race seems like a pretty obvious choice, but I'll look at all the options.
Nemolito wrote:
Sheehan really is an interesting rider and the wage you had to pay shows that obviously. I think he'll learn a great deal from Pogi and TGH.
Hopefully I can provide a good environment for him to thrive in.
Ulrich Ulriksen wrote:
Congrats, a very interesting rider with a short dev timeline. Not really sure why I didn't try and sign him.
It was plenty difficult to sign him even without your intervention
liefwarrior wrote:
Obviously wanted to sign him given he was one of my recommended additions but couldn't justify the expense. Very interested to see which route you take him down.
He's an interesting rider and obviously attractive to some degree. Mostly since he can be self developed in PT.
jandal7 wrote:
Sheehan is a really cool one, not often you get that ACC in that sort of rider. Interested to see where you go with him
Yeah, I'm not sure ACC is a crucial stat for him, but it definitely gives him a different dimension. I could think of good and bad comparisons

Sheehan joining Wright in the versatile riders' list in the team. Nice start to transfers!
Not quite the all 70+ stat rider, but with some versatility for sure

As you will read when we make our departures post, we parted ways with a few of our time-trial specialists, including Aussie Damien Howson. But guess what? We found a young time-trial specialist not far from Australia who could fill some of the leftover shoes. It's a Kiwi instead!
With that said we welcome:
Logan Currie | Age: 23 | Lvl: 3.35 | Wage: 150k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 71 | 62 | 62 | 74 | 70 | 71 | 68 | 53 | 63 | 70 | 64 | 72 | 72 |
Currie: It's great to sign for a team that puts a high emphasis on time-trials. I still have a lot to learn, but I'll be trying to contribute to the team's success starting this season.

I greatly enjoyed having Currie ride with us last season and we obviously wanted to see him stick around on a permanent basis, so a very nice acquisition on your part. No doubt he will be a great contributor to the squad for years to come.

2 great acquisitions for the future who will be able to provide some domestique duties now too. Interested to see the path you take with Sheehan in particular and Currie was on my radar so I'm glad to see he ended up with you.

Another super useful talent acquisition that should help the team immediately in the TTs.

He'll probably be the best TTer I've ever maxed. Thanks for doing some of the heavy lifting with his development

Both could be long term pieces of the puzzle. Especially if I decide I want to be at least somewhat competitive on the TT scene

In a larger deal containing 3 riders, we say goodbye to Giorgi Nareklishvili and Matevz Govekar. In turn we bring back a rider we sorely missed last season and a fee worth 900k.
With that said we welcome back:
Gasper Katrasnik | Age: 29 | Lvl: 4.100 | Wage: 75k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 81 | 61 | 63 | 69 | 72 | 76 | 69 | 63 | 63 | 72 | 81 | 73 | 69 |
Katrasnik: I enjoyed my team at Trans, but I'm delighted to be back. I'm looking forward to riding against the very best this year and I'm aiming to cause an upset or two!

That's definitely a great deal, 900k for a rider you deemed worthless in this pcm version

Sheehan and Currie, two of my highest priority talents. Therefore not surprised that they join you, not rare that we're after similar guys Sadly, set my priorities wrong and couldn't get them. In particular the former will surely be fun figuring out his "best" path
Not looking forward to facing Katrasnik again, was hoping he'd stay further down Pretty awesome fee you got there, you better never talk again about being a bad seller

Oh it just makes sense! You love to see the return
And may as well plug in the ridiculous Currie fee I'll give you to your 202x transfer sheet already

Katrasnik should add some firepower to the flat races and get plenty of opportunities with just Rajovic on sprints.

I'll refrain from mentioning the riders I wasn't after

When did Katrasnik trouble you? Back in his Gjensidige days?
It better be a spicy fee
Hopefully it does make sense. Bringing back Rajovic was a success. Hopefully I'm 2/2 on comeback stories. Athough they are effectively just me admitting my past mistakes

Exactly

With some departures in our climbing ranks it was essential for us to bring in some replacements. Depth in the right areas of the squad is still something we strive for. The free agent market was quite difficult to navigate this year, but we feel like we have found decent value here.
With that said we welcome:
Robert Power | Age: 29 | Lvl: 4.100 | Wage: 120k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CO | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 67 | 77 | 70 | 66 | 77 | 76 | 79 | 59 | 56 | 63 | 61 | 65 | 65 |
Power: It was a weird off season for me. With the Amaysim team folding I suddenly found myself without a contract. So I'm very happy to land on my feet in the Pro Tour again. I'm used to looking after a team leader in the mountains and that's how I aim to contribute to good team results.

This is the only straight money deal where we acquire a rider this year. Rather than trying to fill a particular hole on the roster, we simply looked at it as an opportunity and decided to bring this deal through. At the end of the day it just made sense.
In exchange for a fee of 120k, joining us from Tryg - Eni we welcome:
Daniel Hoelgaard | Age: 31 | Lvl: 4.100 | Wage: 120k FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FT | DH | PR | 72 | 74 | 77 | 65 | 72 | 72 | 72 | 62 | 68 | 74 | 73 | 69 | 65 |
Hoelgaard: There isn't a designated leader here for me to support. I've been told I'll be helping across various races, as well as guiding some of the younger riders. I need to make the most of my chances when I go in the breakaway.
