Good job in renewals. I'm still jealous on how cheap Hayter was/is

@Ulrich: But that wouldn't be like me at all Benoot's increase was expected and in range, while Hayter was indeed a steal for his potential skills. Always open for all kinds of discussions during transfers.
Move went fine, thanks for asking
@redordead: Renewals was decent, nothing special. Guess I got lucky with Hayter last year

| Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Ki Ho Choi | 70 | 80 | 73 | 74 | 76 | 75 | 78 | 62 | 58 | 67 | 67 | 70 | 73 | 33 | | Daniel Vesely | 73 | 60 | 68 | 57 | 74 | 68 | 76 | 57 | 81 | 80 | 61 | 71 | 57 | 32 | | Giovanni Carboni | 70 | 78 | 76 | 69 | 73 | 73 | 73 | 62 | 66 | 69 | 61 | 72 | 69 | 29 | | Bakhtiyar Kozhatayev | 74 | 77 | 74 | 72 | 71 | 75 | 71 | 70 | 52 | 69 | 62 | 74 | 72 | 32 | | Jo Kogstad Ringheim | 71 | 67 | 66 | 65 | 73 | 69 | 71 | 77 | 72 | 73 | 65 | 66 | 65 | 33 | | Piotr Havik | 77 | 63 | 70 | 65 | 74 | 73 | 64 | 72 | 70 | 69 | 75 | 70 | 64 | 30 | | Jan Tratnik | 69 | 71 | 75 | 60 | 71 | 72 | 65 | 60 | 59 | 67 | 69 | 63 | 60 | 34 |
Choi has been a rock for us in the mountains for the past couple of seasons, breaking the individual points record for the team in 2023. His time at the top is unfortunately coming to an end and we believe this is the best chance for him to find a new team.
Vesely also had an exceptional season last time around, achieving yet another record points haul, this time for sprinters in our squad. While we don't mind keeping him around for another season, we do have some other targets we'd like to pursue in his place.
Carboni did not get a lot of leadership chances with us, but he never finished outside the Top 10 when he did! He should be an excellent asset for both PCT and CT for hybrid and mountain races. The advent of a maxed Leemreize deems him available for a move away from us.
Kozhatayev is another rider we don't mind keeping around, but we believe we have enough cover to allow him look for better opportunities elsewhere. He was an excellent domestique last season in three terrains - mountains, hills and cobbles, and should be a useful rider in any division.
Ringheim was a revelation in the first half of last season, regularly beating out stronger cobbles riders for high placings! His decline makes him less useful for us, but he is still leadership quality for CT teams and an excellent second cobbles option for others.
Havik is a handy rider to have for the flats, cobbles and the leadout, and he contributed in each area for us last season. With the rise of Kooistra and the impending improvements for Alben, we feel he is surplus to requirements.
Tratnik might have already lost some of his powers, but he is a solid domestique on the hills and can even contribute on the mountains in a long train. We are looking to have him transfer to a team where he can contribute more effectively with his current skillsets.
| Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Bob Jungels | 72 | 64 | 68 | 78 | 74 | 75 | 69 | 54 | 63 | 63 | 72 | 70 | 78 | 32 | | Muhamma Afif Ahmad Zamri | 70 | 75 | 70 | 75 | 72 | 74 | 75 | 52 | 59 | 69 | 71 | 59 | 75 | 32 |
The idea is to sell these guys as long as we can get replacements. Ahmad Zamri is definitely more available than Jungels, for the simple reason that it is much harder to get a top TTer (or two) in transfers than a stage racing domestique.
| Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Daan Hoole | 71 | 68 | 67 | 72 | 72 | 75 | 68 | 73 | 68 | 69 | 70 | 70 | 69 | 25 | | Naveen John | 67 | 70 | 68 | 73 | 69 | 71 | 71 | 58 | 64 | 67 | 73 | 66 | 74 | 29 |
We are looking to loan out Hoole and John to PT, so that they can complete their development. Hoole should be a useful contributor on the cobbles and for TTTs, while John is a decent stage racing domestique, who will also shore up the TTT unit.

Disappointed to see you trying to get rid of Kozhatayev and Ahmad Zamri after just one season

Given that I'm not really fond of 32+ aged riders, there's not much choice for me on that list
Still, one of them could be rather interesting given the relative lack of depth in my climbing department
And why not get some more loan deals in? Hoole is one of these versatile riders I really like, and John could be pretty handy, too.
Let's see if we end up talking - in any case, best of luck for transfers and the upcoming season, let's finally get that promotion! With two relegated teams disbanding, I guess chances should be pretty good for you this year... If you don't mess up transfers, obviously

@quadsas: You keep saying that and he keeps scoring at an average >650 points per season. I think I am quite sure about taking that chance again!
@ivan: Someone like Kozhatayev, who has nothing more than a domestique role in the team, albeit a very good one, is on too high a wage for me to justify keeping him around just for his unique skillset. The wage that would be freed up will be needed so that I can invest it elsewhere. Nothing against either of them, just that I don't see much of a future for them with us.
@Fabianski: Always open to talk about any and all possibilities, be it deals or loans, during transfers, and can't say I haven't been keeping an eye on your availability list too So I think we will definitely be in touch. Can't say I'm very confident of rebuilding the team enough for a promotion push this season, but hopefully it will be a good base for next season.

Some very high quality riders on the block which should get some good sales - profit and cap space for you sounds very good too
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

The team management at Sony - Force India would like to welcome everyone today for the unveiling of the new team jersey. Over the years, our jersey has always seen a gradual change as the sponsorship picture has evolved. However, this year, despite our sponsors remaining the same from last season, we decided to go on a completely different route and allowed our jersey to be drastically changed, perhaps for the first time in our history. We hope the shiny new jersey will help attract our target riders to join us for the coming season
Without further ado, we would like to take this opportunity to present to the world, our jersey for the 2024 MG season...
We would like to thank Ezeefreak for conceptualizing and creating this wonderful new jersey.

Profit and cap space will be fairly good provided I get those sales through! Hoping the available riders will find takers.

I really love the black green and orange combo - perhaps the white will grow on me Definitely a change up for the team but I'm into the dark jersey, feels like you really mean business

Grrr, we''re dark and dangerous (no offence meant )
The white was needed for the logos mainly.

Ezee did a great job indeed. It was also hard work for me to save the jersey that he had sent, uploading it to imgur, copying the link and adding it to the post. Thanks for that, much appreciated!

When you try to copy the link I believe it gives you four options. Only a true shirtposter knows how to find the correct one. You didn't even need to edit your post after making a mistake, that's how I know I'm speaking with a certified legend here. I salute you.
