Groenewegen unfortunately being hit here again, while Olivier was doing well. 6th and +9s is fine, Cras and Vanhoucke s.t. yet and in a decent position as well.
A bit unfortunate that the top3 were able to gap Olivier on such stage but fair enough.
Thanks for the reports. |

Congrats to Eden for another win!

This was a big bummer in the stage we were best suited for in this race. But at least Thompson secured us a second point for provisional 2nd in the KoM ranking, and maybe - just maybe - he'll be in the break again tomorrow and snatch some more points (and mabe even the jersey) despite our team's long tradition of just ignoring any chances to get a KoM jersey when it's in reach. A breakaway apperance (from any rider really) is what we can realistically hope for tomorrow and maybe Gall can stay long enough with the favourites to climb in the U25 ranking.

Absolutely stoked with that! Yates is such a fun rider to have - it’s been a while since I’ve had a proper climber on the team. I thought he’d do well in this stage, but didn’t expect him to ride away into the sunset like that. Big day tomorrow, we have a very good climber troupe here so hopefully they can put in the work to keep attacks to a minimum and deliver Yates to a decent GC.
Good luck to all tomorrow, should be a fun stage!
Thanks for the wonderful report!

Brillant riding by Meintjes once again. Two third places on the stages and second overall is really all I could've asked for. Oomen is just a beast when he's on his A-game and he really was here. Congrats Eden, too, on that stage win and GC podium by Yates.
We also collect the good 4th place on stage 1 by Stallaert, as well as 2nd in the teams classification, 3rd in the points classification for Meintjes and 3rd in the U25 competition, good job by Tesfatsion there. And then very minor GC points for Eyob and Ndayisenga, too. Really happy with that, and somewhat needed after a bit of a lull over the past couple of weeks.
Thanks a lot for the nice reports Imladrik!

Some surprise names in the back half of the top 10, but I'm happy Trans got a good result with Primozic also winning the U25

Superb stage by Aular. A shame he finishes one second away from the podium, but nevertheless we leave this race with a great feeling after that Venezuelan performance. Higuita with 11th and then Osorio and Lopez Nolasco around 25th place on the stage are all very nice, a shame they all lost time yesterday (and that Manninen couldn't hold on today )
Congratulations to Lierse on a strong stage and GC win, and conmiserations to some teams that should have riders inside the top-10 but clearly had some kind of off-day. Thank you Imladrik for the great reports as always

Whole team decided to be on a bad day for some reason! Guess our run had to end somewhere.
Congrats to Lierse and thanks for the reports Imladrik Great result for Aular there as well.

Such a shame to lose the lead on the last stage like that, but to still manage a place (barely) in the podium is a huge plus, would have been very happy with that pre-race.
Yates was awesome again, a stage win + 3rd overall is terrific. We are let down again by depth - we had some great climbers here and could have easily wound up with another two or so in the top-30. Such has been the case this season unfortunately, we have some decent depth now but struggle to find points away from our leaders. Anyhow, this is a huge deal for us still. Yates is just such a great rider to have - thank you again to jph
Congrats Olfardh! Oomen has had some weird moments but has shown here why he is the top dog in PCT - he is so strong. Good win for you guys and your promotion chances. Meintjes stromg too is good to see (albeit scary).
Commiserations to Xero and Sony - not sure what happened with Choi on this last stage and Bennett was never really in it either - terrible luck.
Thank you for the reports!

Congrats Ollfardh with the win! I'm always getting flashbacks to their 1997 title win when I read your team name
Another great result from Chiarello here, beating some of the better climbers like Bennett, Choi and Berhane.
Thanks Imladrik for the reports!

Hehe, the typical end of the season win where the only difference will be Oomen's wage demands. Still, I kinda like it. Thanks everyone for the congratulations and to Imladrik for the reports!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Congrats Ollfardg for a great win and thanks once again to Imladrik for the reports.
Stage 3 was another fitting chapter of our season as while Thompson finishing 3rd in the KoM is a nice result we only get 8 points from the race in total. On top all of them are brought in by neo-pros while our more suited riders Gall, Teuns, Paulus or Chevrier managed to lose 13 to 17 minutes in the final stage (finishing even behind some of our year 1 or 2 youngsters). They surely weren't top contenders here, but finishing last in the team classification is way beyond what we could expect from them nonetheless.

Believe me, I become more and more convinced it was a mistake with each day that passes
Good to see both Yates and Meintjes doing well, and a good win for Oomen as well. Congrats to Ollfardh and thanks for the reports! |

Congrats to Oomen, great way for Lierse to bounce back after that awful luck in Arab Tour! Guess he should be fighting it out against Choi for the title "PCT's top stage racer" (with Areruya obviously having his own "Beast" category), with the latter having a major letdown here.
Good to see Meintjes carrying Bralirwa after some lower results for them (although in my own interest I shouldn't be rooting for him ), as well as Yates keeping up Indosat's pretty strong push lately.
Aular also with a stronger than expected result for LPH, who have definitely picked up the pace lately. On the other hand, another below-par result for Padun, who just can't transform great (climbing) stats into great results. Same for Bennett, starting to look like Xero will need another co-leader besides Areruya, with the Kiwi apparently not being PCM's preferred rider.
And really, really no clue what happened to Lampre, ridiculous group shot 15 minutes down... Guess it's time for them to bounce back in Benelux?
Similarly weird result for Ekoi, sometimes PCM is hard to understand...
Thanks for the entertaining reports

A top 10 on GC keeps the survival train rolling on
Feels like it's been a whole season of solid but unspectacular racing from the team
