Pleased to see that we only meet Eastman once in a TTT battle
As you mention, his RDs are pretty limited, and I doubt that ToA will maximize his scoring with a pretty TT-heavy PCT calendar available. But I clearly get the RP reason - same for me with sending Stüssi to Tour de Suisse, although that's just 1/3 of ToA RDs. And if Eastman wins it all there, I guess your season would be a success. The TTT should be a significant advantage for him over there (supposing all your TTers accompany him), but it looks like the competition will be pretty insane once again...
Have to agree with Abhi that Hallstatt and San Sebastian don't look optimal in this schedule, given Eastman's lack of punch - but with just 4 RDs left there's not much you could do... Maybe Eritrea, or doing a 5-day race instead of Japan and then add another 5-day one - but I guess you considered all these things as well

Down Under Classic:
As a HC race in our core territories Glanbia have always applied for this race as a CT team. We have competed twice with a 26th place in 2020 and a strong 11th place from Sam Bennett last year.
This year we are here with our new sprint leader Dylan Kennett. He will be backed by Sam Bennett and a strong core of time trial/rouleur guys to act as protectors.
A top 10 would be a good start for Kennett and Glanbia. Apart from Kennett, Daniel Eaton will make his debut while Michael O’Loughlin returns from loan.
Gisborne GP:
On the same day our youth take on the Gisborne GP. Despite always competing here Glanbia have enjoyed very little success here because we have never targeted the hilly classics. Seán McKenna did bag a top 10 here last year. This year the goal is simply experience.
Ricardo Broxham, Archie Ryan, Aaron Wade, Kevin McCambridge all make their Glanbia debuts here. In fact apart from Broxham all are making their professional debuts.
Our two stagiares Taj Jones and Matthew Dinham complete our team. Let’s see if we can get in the BOTD- maybe Archie Ryan can light up the world on his debut with a top 25...

The Gisborne GP saw many fresh young eager faces in Glanbia colours and two of these- Aaron Wade and Kevin McCambridge made sure to be seen by joining the day's break
That was always doomed however and as expected Glanbia leave here empty handed with Ricardo Broxham's 91st place the best of our lot.
--------------------------------------
Still down south but in a country with a slightly different flag:
Dylan Kennett begins his Glanbia career with a respectable 11th place on the Down Under Classic. It was a "stacked field" and with little or no support Kennett did well to launch his Glanbia scoring record
----------------------------------------------------------
The take-aways from day 1.
Kennett is going to struggle up against the best guys but he can get points. Sending Bennett as a lead-out is probably just a compete waste of time.
In C2 races we had to just send the young guys to get XP so we can't expect anything except for the TTT one.

I think this is all you can really hope for with Kennett, and I'm in the exact same boat with Silvestre. Try to rack up as many 11th +-4 places as possible so it accumulates over the course of the season. You had a better start than I did with that, but I suspect you might need those points more than I do, too. Although tbf if Silvestre continues to finish outside of the Top 25, I might be in some trouble

Some of the very few highlights from the Tour Down Under, Dylan Kennett sprinting to 8th place:
Francis Juneau scored our best result taking a 3rd place from the break (photo here is from a bonus sprint but hey it shows him in 3rd)
And from another break McKenna steals a fifth place:
Overall, a poor race but we knew we would be looking for crumbs and in that regard a few stage placings might have been more than we could have expected
Until Eastman and a few TT based races get going I am afraid we will be looking for luck more than anything else

Definitely not the best race from Kennett, especially looking at how well someone like Walscheid did. McKenna could have done a bit better in breakaways, not sure why he often disappoints. But yeah, betting on breakaways is always risky anyway - but you basically can't do anything else on the hills I'm afraid.
Good luck for the next races!

The Spring came quickly for Glanbia with a host of races as the boys continue to get to grips with the step up to PCT.
That means a lot of races where we failed utterly and scored nothing or next to nothing. However there are always bright spots like:
A great sprint win for Dylan Kenneth in the Circulo de Juarez. His consistent scoring throughout led to an excellent 4th place overall. Kenneth is delivering so far
A fine third place in the Isle of Man TT for the boys in green with a debut for a certain Ryan Eastman
Sean McKenna sprinted well uphill to get a fifth place in a stage in South Africa. Unfortunately he was blown out the back by our TT team in the decisive stage but Kent Main salvaged a 19th place
So a lot of bleak races (damn cobbles) but just enough for Glanbia fans to believe that we can hang on once Eastman gets going but you know "long hard season"

Juarez was already included in the last calculation if I'm correct, so I'm curious to see if you can limit your losses this month
Congrats with your IoM performance, no surprise with such TT depth!

Nice result in Juarez and definitely also IOM. Sorry to finish just above you there, but in the end nobody could do anything against the Jura invincibles anyway

Couple of good results to keep the points coming in. Looking forward to see how Eastman does for you.

Seems like Kennett has been keeping you afloat for now. Even though I predicted you to go down, it's definitely a lot more fun if you are still competitive throughout the season.

Above we see the crowning moment of Ryan Eastman's glorious season as he leads Team Glanbia over the line in the TTT of the Tour of America. Little did we know these few vital seconds would be decisive in winning Glanbia the TOUR OF AMERICA!!!
The moment will live forever on Glanbia's history but yet.....the year of Eastman ended in failure as after a single season Glanbia are relegated from PCT.
Apart from Eastman honourable mention should go to Dylan Kennett for a good first year.
The rest of the team fell between too young, too old and simply not good enough for PCT.
Glanbia extends its thanks to all the Man Game activists who made the season a realty- it was fun.
(Apologies for the last couple of months of inactivity- it was a doozy of a period)
We will be back- although sponsor negotiations are ongoing.....

Congrats on winning the TOA, it was a great fight. Look forward to seeing some of those Irish talents beginning to mature.

Given your limited time during transfers and the budget left on the table, I think your squad can honestly be pretty proud to have made it at least somewhat close in the end. I'm very happy that Eastman was able to deliver some true highlights for you, ToA above all of course, and I'm very interested to see how you'll continue your teambuilding in CT. Best of luck!

What division a team is riding in is transient, having the first American to win the Tour of America is eternal. Exciting future for your project I think, will be interesting to see how you tackle the returning to the Continental level but I don't doubt you'll be bouncing right back up.

Big congrats on winning the ToA, and that too with an American rider! Hoping to see you bounce right back into PCT after a season.
