Well, this is heating up a bit...
As I wrote, everyone can use the flags he thinks are appropriate. Initially, I did this kind of calendar just for my team, and decided last year I could do it for the entire calendar and publish it as a service for others. I do by no means claim that it's geopolitically accurate, or that it corresponds to the liking of every manager (which isn't possible anyway).
For the GTs, everyone can delete the flags he doesn't want, so I prefer including too many of them rather than leaving some out. As for Tour of America, it's usually at least two countries anyway. Whether to include a foreign "Grand Depart" for TdF, or additional countries for the other GTs, probably depends on everyone's taste. That's why I posted the BBCode, so everyone can do with the calendar whatever they want.

This is contradictory and I'd say inaccurate. For the purposes of pcm I wouldn't argue though 
Yes i typed too quickly, should read - not a part. However as it's Sovereign State for the region is the UK (unlike the IoM, who is only "represented by" and not directly part of the sovereign state) and it's head of state is the King, and has multiple times rejected Spain in a referendum to remain "part of" the UK, and is also tied directly into most UK Laws (including EU Status) to have the Gib flag then UK flag ala Basque is a perfectly acceptable set-up.
Anyway - Kosovo right? Should have a flag because... oh dear lord where does it end 
Next year i'm registering my team in the South China Sea and yeah, that'll be a fun flag debate!

Thanks for the great discussion of national identities. Thanks to for Fab for putting the calendar template together regardless of one's opinion. The countries on Tour of Northern Europe are correct. I didn't want to change the nature of the race so the one GC impactful generic stage remains - I might fix that next year.

Probably hard to dive in and check, but it's possible TONE has broached up to 10 different countries across it's life cycle. Always been a fan of multi country races!
