Hello all, I proudly present you hereby a brand new team in the Continental division of MG.
But let me first introduce you to both of my sponsors!
The first one all of you might recognize. It's Mercatone Uno.
The former Italian giant is back after an absence of 20 years in cycling.
Mercatone had a lot of successes in history with a Tour win with Marco Pantani. But also a lot of other Italian icons of cycling like Mario Cipollini, Michele Bartoli and Stefano Garzelli.
And that's what the Italian sponsor also wants to achieve with us. Winning a Tour in Pro Tour, but that's a goal for in the future.
Next up is Weba.
A Belgian furniture store which is known all over Belgium because of all the publicity it gets on radio and tv. But in the world of cycling the store doesn't have experience at all. And they are looking forward to partner Mercatone here in MG.
At last I want to say a big thank you for giving me the opportunity to participate in Man-Game. I'm looking forward to a nice and fun season with hopefully a lot of success! And I wish all my other managers in all the divisions a lot of luck and may the best win!
Spoiler Team Roster:
Simone Consonni
Matteo Malucelli
Daniele Dall'Oste
Luca Mozzato
Timo Kielich
Louis Blouwe
Stan Van Tricht
Stan Dewulf
Tosh Van der Sande
Lahcen Saber
Ben Turner
Dobrin Lilovski

I was so close picking Mercato Uno at one point, I'm so happy it's joining Saeco in the peloton! You're my favourite rival ❤️ |

Welcome in the MG! I wish you good luck with this legendary sponsor combo, but I have to ask. Is your team based in Gent or Deinze?

Welcome to the game, I expect that we will clash a bit in the off season when it comes to the Italian riders on offer but should be fun regardless

Joining the others in giving you a warm welcome to the game! I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do - despite all the lows that inevitably happen every now or then...
Guess I can be glad that Italy isn't one of my main focus regions anymore, with both Saeco and Mercatone Uno coming in, plus Lampre taking over at HelloFresh On the other hand, one more candidate to one day show interest in some of my riders
Good luck for navigating your first transfer period - it'll be a lot of fun despite all the plans that will be crushed in the first five minutes

Welcome to the CT! I really like your jersey, it will certainly stand out in a peloton. Good luck in the carnage of the transfers, especially regarding the other new teams with a similar focus region.

Mercatone had a lot of successes in history with a Tour win with Marco Pantani.
So i searched through the MG archives and it appears there never was a team called Mercatone Uno and no guy called Pantani won the Tour ever since cycling was invented in 2007
Just kidding - Welcome to the game!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Very neat to bring Mercatone Uno to the MG era for the first time and with a cool jersey! Excited for your first transfers, welcome to the game!

Extremely beautiful design. I really like it!
It will be interesting to see if you'll succeed on your long term goals. Would be great to see some Italian succes, just like I mentioned to your CT company Saeco.
I'm unsure if it's going to be easy to build up Italy from the ground, but there really should be a way around it when combining with Belgium.
