First of all thank you to all of you, who have gathered here today.
This is probably something you didn't come here to hear, but standing here in front of you is one of my least favourite things to do in my role with this team. On the other hand it's much easier to do this when you are having success and that's certainly been the case for us over the last three seasons.
After 4 years in the Pro Continental division we are now moving up to the top, the Pro Tour. While that wasn't the outcome we specifically aimed for, it does tell us that we are in a good way with what we are trying to achieve. This is and always has been a long term project since the team formed 5 years ago. There will be changes. Some we make happen and some we can't stop from happening. What is certain is that this will be a new challenge along the lines we haven't faced yet.
I would like to again thank Mr. Emil Tedeshi and Mr. Enzo Smrekar for their continued support. Together we are building this cycling team, developing the sport in the Balkan region and enhancing the Cedevita brand. I have received assurances that we have the board's full support going forward.
We plan to hold another press conference after the renewal process. There we will discuss the ins and outs of the team in more detail, as well as answer your questions about the upcoming season.
Bostjan Mervar,
team representative and general manager of Cedevita

Can't wait for you taking on the PT and especially for Pogacar's 25-year-old season. Congrats once again on the promotion and good luck for transfers
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I actually didn't realize before how many young riders you have - it's amazing that you could develop that many riders while being so successful in PCT
Looking forward to see how you'll be shaping your roster around Pogacar Good luck for transfers and your first PT season

Wild how young your top riders all are (well, all but one). One or two big-name additions and I think you have a good chance of establishing yourself in the PT. I'll be rooting for you!

I haven't been that thrilled for this PT excursion, but I'll be honest as we are getting closer to transfers, the excitement is building.
Thanks, I think I'll need the luck

It's the same 'young riders' as last season, only a year older now
PCT is the best division for developing riders. I'm already suffering from withdrawal because I know I can't develop lvl 1s in PT

I wouldn't say wild. How about well raised over a number of years?
We'll see if big names are available and if I can afford them, but I'll try to have a productive transfer period regardless. Thanks for the support!

I know you weren't exactly thrilled with promotion at the end of last season. But nonetheless I will be cheering you on and hope the Orange Brigade will achieve some succes in PT! Maybe we will talk in transfers, good luck!

Fair point As I said, I just didn't realize it before.
I think your roster structure with one (on paper) big leader and a good bunch of 100-200k riders plus some niche riders and plenty of talents might be a good example for me
Yeah, not being able to develop lvl1 riders in PT is as nasty as not being able to max lvl4 riders in CT (even worse, as you can't even do that in two years). But if you need a little help, just hit me up

You give me too much credit. No one (including me) liked the roster that much before the season. It's only after that everyone jumps on the 'bandwagon'. Reality is likely somewhere in between.

It definitely feels worse than CT right now

Massive congratulations on the promotion to PT
Stepping into the division as a Slovenian team just as another (nit just any other though!) leaves. Will be looking forward to how you build for it and especially how Pogacar goes. And cheer up

Really looking forward to see what this Ardila-dude Can do with his limited backup stats, but massive key stats. Can he be a threat at this level, or a frustrations high stat no performer. Can go either way I think.
Christodoulos is obviously the odd man out here. Surely doesn’t feel like he belong.

Thanks!
It's almost like Croatia14 planned for that, can't put anything past that guy

I guess we'll need to stick around to see.

Cedevita is not only my favourite instant vitamin drink for every occasion, suitable for all ages, for any time of day, it is also a team I have followed and cherished as soon as I joined MG. What was clear before is even clearer now that you have rightfully made it into PT: you're an amazing manager who takes/took his time to build a great allround team, consisting for a nice part out of regional focus rider, of which you developed/are developing a nice part yourself. Hopefully you can manage to get the good few additions you need to stay in PT for your first season, and after that with a training eligible Pogi and Siric there should be great things for you in the future.

That looks like a great roster for the upcoming years. I'm curious how you will manoeuvre in the transfer season. All the best!

I didn't realize this HQ was like a product that needed a positive review.
I hope I don't receive an invoice.

Thanks! I agree it could look great in the upcoming years, but I didn't plan on it needing to be great now
