I knew Vingegaard was going to win the TT but I was expecting by 20 or 30 sec but by over 1 min no way

Banning people for having concerns about monstrous performances given the history of the sport and ignoring the elephant in the room is not the way to go either.

These meltdowns are rather hilarious anyway. I feel it's really hard for a lot Pog fans to cope with this because they thought for sure Pog would turn things around in his favor today and then it ended up like this.

i don't find it hilarious that fake winners taking the wins

i was so happy when wiggins, evans won as they seemed human compared to contador, schleck

i was happy when roglic was favourite to win as he seemed human in 3rd week

i wasn't happy that pogacar steal his win, that pogacar ITT was not real,a joke just yesterday vingegaard ITT

i didn't watched that time trial as i knew roglic was a better TT rider,i liked pogacar as he was new face and the future

i hope another team dopes and take the reigns from jumbo

let's be real for a moment, how in the world you get to have roglic the 3rd best GT rider, vingegaard blowing as the best GT rider and somehow you find an american(sep kuss) being a top 5 climber in the world

i don't believe in extreme shit luck

Well now its definately over. Unless Pogi goes full Landis on stage 20.

It looks like the go as hard as possible in the hardest stages and hope eventually the fatigue will get to Pogi worked.

Honestly.. suspicious numbers aside.

This stage was always going to be one Jumbo would have targetted. Its high, and whilst Pogi has few weaknesses I think everyone generally agrees Pogi isn't the absolute best at high altitude. And today happens to be exceptionally hot and iirc, Pogi likes cold weather, whereas Vin likes heat, so that just plays into Vin and Jumbo's hands even more.

Vingegaard is so superior.

Don't wanna hear ever again that Pogacar is on Vingegaard's level in 3-week GTs. Should focus on classics and minor stage races from now on.

Don't you have WVA for the Classics?

So can I start complaining about the race organisation again?

Why on Earth would a guy that have won 2 Grand Tours and have another 3 podiums (in 4 days time) and 13 stagewins at the age of 24, decide to only focus on the Classics?

Ill take Pogi anyways since after yesterdays complete farce I expect some teams to put more pressure on Jumbo to stop being THAT obvious which should open window for Pogi to do better, as he is clearly a superior rider still

Pogi is more fun to watch...that's for sure.

The way I see things Pogacar looks too tired, might be from always being in peak form all year round.

Exactly. But Jonas fanboys overlook this important fact. Simply Pogacar built up for TDF was far from ideal. The races he did, his long peak at spring, broken wrist. Then when you look at Jonas his preparation was based always only around the Tour and nothing else. Hopefully UAE management can learn lessons from this.

I don’t think you can say that. What you call Jonas fanboys is mainly Danes. At least on this site most of us have had and still has the deepest respect for Poga and also the Danes have stated that Poga is overall the best rider, maybe alongside VFA. Personally I saw them as equal even considering Pogas unlucky preparation. Whereas some Poga fans seems to have come to the conclusion he was unbeatable, completely disregarding his tough season and the crash spoiling his preparation.

Vingegaard did also beat him comfortably last season though, where Pogacars preperation was as he prefers it. He obviously didn't peak at the ardennes there either, where he only rode Fleche and came 12th.

So maybe the difference just is that Vingegaard is the better Grand Tour rider at the moment, regardless of how Pogacar chooses to prepare. That would be my honest guess... But there's a long way from that conclusion and to wanting Pogacar to stop focussing on the TdF. If Pogacar come with last season form, it doesn't need a whole lot of bad luck from Vingegaard for him to lose the race. If he hadn't been blessed with the combination of van Aert and Roglic the storyline could have looked very different, even if Vingegaard had the best engine, and took a chunk in the latter part.
