Better stuff from Glanbia as Mannion sneaks into the top 20 and Tyler "Tour of America" Brandt gets a good stage result
and what a report!

Disappointing but not really surprising, Kuss' GC position more of a fair reflection of his quality now. I was expecting a drop like this and will be pleasantly surprised if he doesn't drop further. Hoping we can hang on to our teams position. Fear for Hoehn in young rider, he is due for a bad stage.
Great stage and great report. I think the limited number of brutal stages in this race help keep the GC interesting. Congrat to Abhi on a deserved win.

Don't love the Pluchkin gain but obviously a really good day for us. Still wary of the ITT given the frankly ridiculous gaps this game gives us, even if it's only 26km I fully expect that to be two minutes or even well more lost to Pluchkin and Choi and potentially that to Karlsson too, so we need to recuperate a day and take some more time on Mt. Diablo. Great ride here from Bennett though even if the stage win eluded us.
Big love to Xero alum Gilanipoor in 4th
Spoiler Goes without saying but hating that it's coming to rooting against Choi and Philips, really rough one today for him

Back into the top 10 for Vasyliv. The fight for 9th with Campero is heating up. Another mountain stage and TT to come for the GC. Keen to see how Nizzolo goes in the sprints in the last 2 sprint days as well. Exciting finish to come! We hope to finish 9th in GC but we will see!

Rough few days for the team but, wow! Gilanipoor, what a ride! Sad to see him miss out on the podium by just a fraction, but considering how good this result is for us I can’t complain. Congrats to Hoekie and thanks for the report Fabi

Choi on a really weak day means our shot at the win is gone I think. The fight is to hold on to 2nd now realistically. Thought the MTT was one of the stages where Choi would excel but it turned out to be opposite. Barta on a good day and getting a Top 10 is nice. Eenkhoorn also on a better day. Focus turns to protecting the Green Jersey now, so lets see where that one goes.
Congrats to fjhoekie and thanks for the report

Wait there is ANOTHER ITT coming!? Good ride by Bennett, now I hope Choi can step it up. Plubear still has the juice though, everything set for a spectacular finish. I think Bennett needs to find more than a minute tomorrow if he wants a shot at winning it all.

You thought I have been this worried about a MTT?

No huge damage done in the MoTT, but I fear the next TT (even though the hilly rating may limit the losses?) may destroy our lead in the team's classification. We just have Canty as a proper TT guy.
Anyway, thanks for another great report. Obviously cheering for Bennett, but the TT is definitely worrying..

It would obviously be far too much to expect of PCM that a GC leader with two great roleurs in his team to try and gain a GC advantage on almost every one of his rivals when it's handed to him on a silver platter so I can't be mad about that. So I guess that was a fine stage, hope we recovered before one of the biggest stages in team history tomorrow

Sketchy way to keep the Green Jersey. Looking unlikely that TvA will have it at the end. Expecting Bennett to anyway take it tomorrow.
Congrats to D2B for Haller finally coming good and thanks for the report Fab

Finally the Krafterk leadout worked as I intended when I selected the team and it delivered Haller in a great position.
Pleased that Haller got his stage win and is getting close to the all time record. Big thanks to Fab for posting the stats. De Buyst getting involved is good to see, brought him as a rouleur and leadout but he has been nearly invisible all race.
S18 stage win makes up for the disappointing S17 MTT where 3 star favourite seemed to be a kiss of death.
Thanks for the thanks and big thanks to Fab for the absolutely amazing reports!

Putting guys like Bayly in the break is probably the best chance to steal KoM points, that Hamilton won't collect anymore (as 8th in the GC). Too bad the mountain stage comes prior to the TT

Very good job once again from Coutinho bringing himself into the fight for green! The last stage will be a nailbiter, but first we need Faglum Karlsson to deliver on the next two stages

Mixed feelings, but I guess the KoM loss was always going to happen today. On paper, we did right to have two riders and particularly Bayly in the break, but ofc PCM wouldn't try to steal KoM points. Eventually, we might have sealed the team's classification, which would be a nice bonus from this race! And a solid stage result, too.
Hamilton did well to limit the losses. Top-10 won't happen, which is obviously fine. A pity though, that Canty didn't have the legs for a solid stage result.
Pretty sure you can't lose 9 minutes in the team's classification in the TT, so if we don't do any special sh*tshow now, the race went quite well after our tactics: gaining something though attacking breakaways (one stage win ain't special, but solid.. 2nd in KoM and propably an unexpected high GC result from manager's favorite Hamilton).

VASYLIV! What a day! Up to 7th now which is a great result heading into the TT. Not sure if we will be able to move up anymore but we need a good result to make sure we don’t move back down! Extremely happy with how Vasyliv and the race has gone!
