Definitely didn't expect 65Hi Manfredi to ever be competitive on a finish like this - I guess I should've kept him 2 stage wins plus potentially KoM plus likely high finish in the points standings - what a race! Also, love to see Manfredi and Thièry dominating the KoM - if only they had done that for me last year

Good to see us in breakaways here, despite having a GC threat in the lineup (who struggled though). Too bad we hadn't a proper breakawa duo for that 4th stage though

This stage was obviously going to the breakaway, so a bummer to miss it.

Really hoped that Riesebeek would get his annual win here, since this stage was almost made for him, instead we get our second 4th place on a stage, would love to crack a podium but I don't see how we will do that on the HTF or TT so it's all onto Vingerling to show up in the last sprint! Thanks for the reports!

Was hoping for Stannard to target this stage, would have suited him so well... instead it was up to two pretty bad climbers. Nice Top 10 for van Wilder then, I guess.
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Out of all the climbers we have at this race we decided to send a lvl 1 Fred Wright into the breakaway for a mountain stage
I guess the race was going too well for us and we had throw in a stage like this. Congrats to Crabbe again, although I'm not too happy that Manfredi is now ahead of my GC riders

Manfredi taking away my hopes for green and kom. But yeah, no boni seconds left is probably best. Congrats Crabpack!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

You would expect to grab the KOMs easily, but he does it the other way around
Great victory again!

I can't understand why Lindau performs so well in a HC-race, but we welcome it
Would be superb to see him claim the KOM-jersey!
Congrats ManfrediCrab, and thank you for the reports cunego! |

Another job-done kind of stage for Taaramae and the team. Would have been nice to be in the breakaway but our focus is definitely on the final GC result here.
Just need to get through tomorrow safely and without losing any time and we could be on for a very good GC result
My continued thanks for the reports and congrats to Crabbe on the stage win!

Two days in a row we escape Taaramae grabbing valuable bonus seconds. All in on the time trial then. Oomen hasn't been doing that well this season, so I hope he's been saving for this one!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Lame
Looks like we just fight for a Top 5-8 with Haig and maybe another breakaway appearance in the final road stage. Which ain't too good, tbh.

No rider in our selection for this race fit the parcours well enough maybe I should have brought Hermans here in hindsight. Now we pray that Vingerling does his vingerting tomorrow! Thanks for the report!

Looks like we were saving ourselves on stage 4 and the lads had it all planned out to go win stage 5
Bouchard has been a bit disappointing early on, but that was a great stage victory. This race probably puts his season back on track
If I'm completely honest Gjensidige probably won the day as a whole. Having three riders in the winning breakaway secures them the team classification and a bunch of depth points and I won't lie I was hoping for that myself
Still this race has been going very well so I can't really complain. One more chance for Zariff, if the breakaway 'craziness' doesn't continue

No damage done in the hilly stages. Hoping the same happens with the ITT.
Congrats to red, much needed win for them Thanks for the report!

Could have been time gained there for Taaramae but it looks like it's going to be down to the final stage TT where he could end up anywhere in the Top 5.
Odds on another breakaway tomorrow though
