Draft Pick 1 - Rudy Molard
Former Generali riders were certainly a hunting ground from the free agency this transfers, and our first draft pick is a former Generali rider himself - albeit not from last year.
A quick search in the Race Profiles forum shows that this is a rider who knows how to win from breakaways, including Int. Osterreich Rundfahrt in 2016 and Tour of Slovenia in 2017.
He ended 2021 strong, leading team leader Kreder into the final kilometre of Zuri-Metzgete. Kreder won, Molard came 9th, and he ultimately scored 44 points in CT last season.
--
Meanwhile Dario Puccioni scored 5 points for Sotto il sole di Riccione during the 2020 season.
Emanuel Piaskowy last raced in the 2018 Polish Championships, for Fablok - Bank BGZ. His manager returns to the MG this year, and there's a chance for Piaskowy to ride again! He scored 30 points in PCT that season.

Rudy Molard is a very solid first pick to me. Should be quite useful. Nationality fit on top.
Puccioni is a bit of a reach for me. Only few useful climbers left in the free agency but i dont think he is one of them.
Piaskowy is an okay pick. Few mo/hi/tt guys left so if that was an area they wanted an improvement, then they got one of the better guys available.
McEvoy obviously a strong pick. Easily one of the best riders available.

McEvoy was inevitable - would have loved to get him, but there was no way Le Creuset would leave him untouched if he was on my list

Adriamihajanarivo is the first big Who? moment for me. Quite similar to Piaskowy actually so no terrible pick but i probably would have looked at other options like Tvetcov or Rowsell for that role first.

Draft Pick 4 - Jonathan McEvoy
McEvoy was the highest OVL rider of those available, and goes to Le Creuset.
In recent history he was 40th in the CT rankings last season on 162 points for Trans cycling team, featuring a 2nd in GP Isola.
McEvoy's career has included 3 PT seasons, 5 in PCT and now a 3rd in CT. The sprinty puncheur likely has too many interesting results to look up just now!
---
Herizo Adriamihajanarivo had a stagiare contract in 2016. Now the Madagascan can race a bit more!
And another African, Tanzania's time trial specialist Laizer has frequently been in teams in the past. Last season it was with Los Pollos Hermanos.

I wouldn't call Tanzania a micro state, but cycling-wise, it's not that wrong, so Laizer should be a good fit for Colombini. One of the lone good TT riders left, decent pickup.

Laizer one of the best one-dimensional TT guys left. Not a fan of the pick, think he would have fit better into a team that actually has a ttt team to strengthen and not a TTT team that could have lose to some of the worst Evonik TTT teams we've seen in the past.

And another name removed from my list... don't know if that's good news for Bianchi, though But Larsen has that nice combo of TTing and sprinting, making him a good asset for TTT and an interesting breakaway option.

Good pick for Tafjord, Lehtinen was one of the best "hybrids" left. Nice regional fit, too. List -1 again
Edit: Oops, guess SN's DB wasn't up-to-date Lehtinen signed by Evonik already...

I like the pick. One of the more useful tt guys left due to the reasons you mentioned. Not sure if there is a ttt team to support but if so, great selection.

I won't blame anyone on this, he was the last rider signed before silent bids
Pruus also a pretty cool rider. That 71-72ish mo/hi/tt combo seems really popular in this draft.
