I love these drafts. The amount of effort put into it is impressive.

Some of those definitely were on my list, but by far not all, either. Will be interesting to see if Mutsumeme gets another ride this year
However, what does that wage column mean? Max wage they ever got?

Seeing that list makes me certain that I have aimed in the wrong direction... |

What is "wrong"? Every rider that can help your team is the right one, whether he's on that list or not

Just means there's a column I wasn't updating, but had still copied into the post

Wrong is not having any riders near that skill on my list. I didn't need sprinters nor hill riders, so I went for a mixed bunch instead |

Well, most are old, non-french
Don't really remmeber who I picked (except one very old, maybe former star but I don't know MG history enough), but stayed in my extended nation-language list.
(Maybe I got one guy on the last list, but not even sure) |

Class of 2022?
Maybe it's not all about OVL. Maybe you just want a high valued stat in a particular terrain - never mind if that riding is aging, one-dimensional, or both!

This is only the Punchers and Sprinters listed, doesn't mention Climbers/ Stage Racers/ TTers, Cobblers or Fighters.

While I would have loved to get Costagli 2 years ago, I'm fortunately not really in need of a one-dimensional climber anymore (even released Manfredi during renewals). However, I still have one of those guys on my list

I'd be surprised if nobody takes a punt on Guarnieri, I thought about taking him to replace Pelucchi as my token Sprinter but he seemed more like a CT guy than PCT

The OVL just show that sprinters are still overvalued, and need to be corrected, so wages of renewals and FA prices correspond better. It doesn’t mean they are actually the better riders :-)

But wasn't that everybody ranked by OVL?

Absolutely. Way too many sprinters signing for 50k this year who probably asked for 120k+ during renewals... And Reinhardt for 75k was even ridiculous; unfortunately didn't have the budget to counter

Correct. The higher OVR climbers and TT guys were all picked already

All of Molard, Puccioni and Piaskowy should do fine as domestiques. And Puccioni can also be used for quite some years to come. No "wtf" pick so far
