Help is most definitely available! This is very much a supportive and welcoming community game.
Questions can always be posed in threads, or you can fire off a PM to a any of the reporters, site admins that are in the game, or just long running managers (PM button bottom left below any post, or via direct click on the user profile and "send private message" below avatar/profile picture).

Also some questions which could be interesting for other newbies in MG as well:
1) Could someone create or recommend a tutorial for creating jerseys? I remember someone tried to set up a tutorial & competition for new shirt creators some years ago (maybe 2018 or so), but I can't find the thread any more.
2) As I may create my own jersey, how can I implemend it in an existing database, so I could use it in career mode too?

Just try it. We're still two weeks or so from the transfer period, so nothing important has happened yet. And we're still not sure concerning the continuation of two teams; if both disband, I guess we'd still have a free spot. But the admins will of course decide
