Hi, been playing PCM for a couple years but I'm relatively new to the world of editors.
I'm using PCMDBEdit by Davy, and I was trying to change the sponsor to my team (Androni), in order to get new kits, since I'm kinda tired of the ones I have, and I want to see the team name and sponsors on the national/world champ jerseys (a bit strange, I know). I don't want to do it the traditional way, since I want an Italy based team and in 5 years I never got an offer by an Italian sponsor. How can I change only the name of the sponsor and the kits, without changing anything else, with that editor?
I had the same experience, I also have an Italian team and never saw an offer from another Italian sponsor.
I haven't done it myself, but the two tables you need to look at are dyn_team and dyn_sponsor. In the latter find a sponsor you like and copy the data from your current sponsor to the new one, the fame column, the 3 budget columns and the contract end column.
Then in dyn_team find your own team and select the new sponsor from the drop-down menu in the column fkIDsponsor. Then rename your team to match your new sponsor.
That should do it (I think), certainly save under a new file name and try it out.
