Things would be better if Hodeg could actually sprint near the front, because I have no idea how we could prefer second in the U25 over a GC top 10 or close thereto. One more stage to do something!

Another solid stage result from Jakobsen but would like a top 5 on the final stage so that he can break into the Top 10 of the GC.
Thanks again for the reports!!

3rd in the final stage for Jakobsen is a massive result to finish off the race and his best of the 5 days!
This means another huge GC result of 4th along with 4th in the Points classification and 1st in the U25. Another great points haul for Jakobsen and the team on flat stages with a high PPRD as well.
Thank you for the detailed reports! And congrats to those who got what they wanted out of this one

If this race ended after the first I'd be slightly happy, but this is just atrocious. Hodeg fifteenth is good and all but I have not seen anything of Vesely for the second consecutive race. He won Barbados last year and took top 5 here as well iirc, but now he's just anonymous. At least we got some points from the U25 with Vansevenant as well.
Thanks for the reports UU, and congratulations to the teams who did well here, especially Bralirwa!

Bralirwa is here to stay! Congrats cunego.
I'm getting slightly worried for Demare though.

Saber in 7th is pretty good in the end. Given the underperformance in Barbados this sort of makes up for it. The combined scoring from both races pretty much hits the minimum expectations, so I'll take that
Not sure if Antonijevic was meant to be the final leadout instead of Siric who has a better SP stat, but it still worked out. In fact Saber's results over this two races have been better when there was leadout helping his position. If he starts too far back his acceleration is just a little lacking maybe.
Congrats cunego, can't say I didn't told you so
Thanks for the reports Ulrich

Hellll yessss Silvestre indeed!! He's the gift that keeps on giving this year. Only 11 out of 42 race days and he's already at something like 400 points. Perfect timing in this race to grab hold of the GC at the very last moment, and winning the points classification is the cherry on top.
Thanks for the congrats, and thanks very much for the reports Ulrich

Well, that sucks. 9 rd's for Manninen in Barbados and Juarez and like 30-/40 points in total. He started off decent here, but didn't care at all anymore after stages one and two. For Los Pollos it's quite simple: unless all leaders perform consistently we go down. And if we have this sprinter luck for the rest of the season, we already know what division to plan for next season.
Nevertheless, thanks for the reports to Ulrich and congratulations to Bralirwa, who might also be looking to plan for another division at this rate

Three top10 Stage results and just about a Top10 GC. Not even close to enough from a rider of Ewan's quality and wage. But at least we know it's not his fault, and not the fault of my planning either. Still bags a few points and keeps u ticking over.
Realistically we needed better results here and in Barbados to feel positive about our position in the table. This i think will help us tread mid-range water, although given our lack of anything in Pais Vasco & Colombia we'll be drifting towards rougher seas before the next ranking update.
Silvestre pulled it off! Happy to see Howard getting a top end result as well.
You've just got to roll with the lottery and know that it'll be different next race

Stage 5 total chaos with 3 riders sprinting independently for 10th 11th and 12th!
Kraftwerk GC 12th 16th & 26th not bad depth scoring and managing top 10s every stage. Pretty good result.
Congrats to Cunego, thanks for the great reports Ulrich and commiserations to the managers who were on the wrong side of the RNG.

Selig finished in the last two stages better but overall I expected or more like hoped that he would do better in GC.
Thanks, Ulrich for the reports.
