The Great Big MG Survey - RESULTS IN FOUR PARTS
DarkWolf
I completed it. Interesting set of questions and I am curious to see how this turns out. Hopefully, this survey could make the MG grow. I followed from a distance and this is my first year taking part in it, but I already love it quite a bit.

A small "Note" text field below the 1-5 estimates would be nice. Like SN say my evaluation would have been very different for 5-7 years ago Smile

Very cool that you do this. Can't wait to see the responses Smile

@SN / SotD - Yes answers would be different a few years ago for me too. I'll tuck away an idea of a version with a view looking back in time.
Found it much easier to keep it shorter and more dialled in on my initial questions. But if there's enough interest i'm hoping to keep coming back to explore new areas and ideas Smile

@All - Thanks for taking part and being interested!

Submitted. Interested to see how the responses go. Some fun ones in there, and some good discussion starters (or maybe re-starters) Pfft

Just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to the 31 responses so far Shock That's already a big portion of the game and i'm loving it!
There's a ton to look at and work from on the written answers, especially those of you whore wrote a full paragraph. It's so good to see genuine and honest answers.

I won't go into any details here, way too much to properly study and work on. And i want to leave it a few weeks to give as many managers a chance to answer without any bias.
However i have to say, i'm surprised at how often we play PCM on average...

______

@Sammy - Already a load of great suggestions for Part 2 questions, and i can definitely see enough interesting areas for maybe even a Part 3. But it won't be soon, i'm planning to spread this out across the season to keep my own MG interest going strong

@DarkWolf - Old or new manager, your opinion is just as valid as any other. And maybe this can inspire some other user contributions as well to keep the game strong and healthy.

@Valv - I can see some potentially controversial discussions to come, and i wanted a couple of light hearted questions just to be fun. Certainly seems most managers got that based on their responses.

Up to 38 responses now. This is mostly just a bump and reminder for those remaining managers you can participate in this.

A results/review/dicussion of the Pilot Survey will come once we're a few races into the actual season Smile

I would guess about 1-2 weeks before you all get to see the results of this first survey experiment. 42 responses so far, and out of 61 Managers that's an impressive return. Still time for the remaining 21 of you to contribute Smile

The MG Pilot Survey - Results Part One

How old are you?
Spoiler
U18: 0
19-29: 26 (60%)
30-39: 13 (30%)
40+: 4 (10%)

For me the main point to note is that we have no U18's in the game currently. This surprised me for sure as i was convinced we had a couple. Not much else to say.

Where are you from?
Spoiler
UK: 7
USA: 5
Germany: 4
Norway: 4
Netherlands: 3
New Zealand: 3
Romania: 3
Slovenia: 2
Belgium: 2
Portugal: 2
Australia: 1
Canada: 1
Czechia: 1
Denmark: 1
Ireland: 1
Italy: 1
India: 1
Switzerland: 1

Rule Britannia! Not overly surprising that the English-speaking nations top the charts. But Germans and Norwegians are right amongst our top users. I'm surprised by the Romanian representation! Not a great showing for the traditional cycling nations, but most of those PCM fans will be on other language forums.

Do you regularly play PCM? (not including MG reporting)
Spoiler
Not Really: 28 (65%)
Less Than Once a Week: 8 (19%)
An hour a Week: 1 (2%)
An hour 2-3 times a week: 5 (12%)
An hour per day: 1 (2%)

We do not play PCM. There'll definitely be a follow up in Survey #2 to get more reasons why we don't play PCM but will take part in the MG.

Do you take part in ICL/RTG/Other Community PCM Games?
Spoiler
Yes: 22 (51%)
No: 21 (49%)

This also gives good room for a follow up in a future survey part as to why/why not. Pretty evenly split so no conclusions to draw without that more in depth follow up.

How big a fan of cycling are you? (1: Not really, 5: Massive)
Spoiler
1: 1 (2%)
2: 7 (16%)
3: 8 (19%)
4: 16 (27%)
5: 11 (26%)

Full support to the one person who doesn't really like cycling but still plays the MG! Not a surprise we are mostly fairly good cycling fans, but don't overlook that the lower end of the scale does make up almost 1/5 managers. This gives the impression that the community and interaction aspect does matter, and more on this in later questions.

Do you play other non-PCM sports management games (e.g. Football Manager)?
Spoiler
Yes: 31 (72%)
No: 12 (28%)

We like sports management games! Shouldn't be a surprise on a sports management game forum. In a later survey this will link up with Q3 as we figure out why we play lots of other games and not PCM.

Notes:
-Not all %'s add up to 100, this is due to basic rounding
-I adjusted some of the location answers to fit the overall Nationality format
-For the Age question i combined the 40-49 & 50+ ansers for simplicity

The MG Pilot Survey - Results Part Two

Is your team based in your own country?
Spoiler
No: 23 (53%)
Yes: 20 (47%)

You could have figured this our from Q2 and looking at the Manager List. Most of us have gone overseas to base our teams, but not by much.

Do you have a personal link to your teams sponsors?
Spoiler
No: 24 (56%)
Yes: 19 (44%)

Most of us have gone searching for our sponsors, but it's a bigger proportion than i expected which went for something a connection. And i can say that interestingly some managers didn't base a team in their own country but still had a personal connection to those sponsors.

Why did you pick your teams sponsors?
Spoiler
I can't list all the answers just to protect annonymity, but here's a couple of examples:
Can't remember, logo looking cool probably played a part?
Regular user of some of the products, supporter of other initiatives, and regularly deal with these countries for work
I work at the company.
Trying to be realistic, while also picking "fun" sponsors. This season I tried to pick sponsors that would give me fun colors to use for my jersey as well
I wanted a local sponsor from my home town
Thought they were a fun sponsor to have

This is obviously harder to quantify. The two primary themes which came through were "Fun" and "Local" as these cover about half of the responses. The personal connection also popped up in about 25% of answers. "Random" is also notable in a good 5 answers. It's worth nothing a connection to favorite teams and other sports, being more common than a random choice.
Being the question which spawned this whole idea i loved reading this, and a massive thank you to those managers who wrote whole paragraphs, gave some personal sorties, and just generally were very open and honest with their reasons.

Do you sign riders based on their real life skills/results/personality?
Spoiler
No: 34 (79%)
Yes: 9 (21%)

Shoutout to the honest 9 of you! I thought there would be more Yes answers here given how many teams are based on a personal/local connection. But ultimately winning matters i guess.

How important is it for other managers to comment on your team?
Spoiler
1: 5 (12%)
2: 9 (21%)
3: 15 (35%)
4: 11 (27%)
5: 3 (7%)

A significant majority in the 3+ area, the community and interaction aspect of the MG is clearly a factor for most of us. But it's not make-or-break and a good portion of players are just happy playing and doing their own thing.

The MG Pilot Survey - Results Part Three

How important is Role Playing to you?
Spoiler
1: 1 (2%)
2: 2 (5%)
3: 13 (30%)
4: 22 (50%)
5: 5 (11%)

Not too shocking, we mostly like to Role Play a lot. Although full credit to the 3 honest managers who are here to win!

How important is Power Playing to you?
Spoiler
1: 3 (7%)
2: 19 (44%)
3: 12 (28%)
4: 7 (16%)
5: 2 (5%)

This isn't a direct mirror of the above question on RP. It's close but even with a strong interest in RP there are more managers who want to do well than just create a story line.

If you prefer RP or Power Gaming, why? What motivates your approach to the game?
Spoiler
I prefer to have both. Want to have my own version of a team like Rabobank or Saxo Bank in MG world - as that is something I would love to see from Czech/Slovak cycling. But at the same time I want to go for the highest places and top results in races. A combination of both works the best for me.

Power gaming; I kinda like it when my team wins stuff

I lean more towards RP (although a lot of this only exists in my head rather as opposed to forum content!). I also like to be a little contrarian in my approach. For instance having been in each of the 3 divisions, from a power-gaming perspective different philosophies can be seen to best suit different circumstances (e.g. PT works best with big leaders able to win big races which can potentially lead to a good number of 'dump' races. This is not an optimised solution in PCT/CT). However I have tried to stick to a more depth-based roster across the divisions, even knowing that is sub-optimal in some circumstances.

Prefer to have at least a strong national presence in the team but not at the expense of team strength.

Power gaming has to be preferential, as the goal of the game is obviously to win. A role playing component can be created out of anything really, so it would be foolish to sacrifice potential at that expense

It's no fun to lose all the time, but also more fun to win when you've challenged yourself. So a nice mixture is helpful.

RP I guess. The whole idea behind my team was to focus on a sole nation that didn’t have much success or much of a background in RL cycling (or MG) and grow them into a strong nation. It took me a few years to build a solid enough team to be comfortable going with properly focusing on growing and developing home riders like I am now. I like to have a degree of success too to keep me invested at times when I’m busy and not able to spend a lot of time with the game, but honestly don’t care too much what division the team is in (so long as it doesn’t affect the home riders in the team ie having to let them go or sell them etc.).

I will say, I used to enjoy the role playing aspect much more when I was younger. As I keep playing this game however, I do prefer to go for wins more. For example, it feels like more people noticed my team this past season (winning the CT) despite me not posting in my HQ, compared to my first 3-4 seasons where I posted all the time. This is not a reflection on the Man Game but rather my ability to write in a enticing manner.

A mix of everything, but mostly trying to have the most fun in every transfer season, making the team look different from year to year.

Playing the game in my own way, my style and try to succeed with that.
A mix, I'd say. I'd be bored without RP, but purely RP without any success wouldn't be any fun, either.

Role Play as it maintains stronger interest over the long MG season - Tried Power Gaming, and whilst successful it was the least fun and almost caused me to quit the game. I don't mind if i'm not winning, as long as it's fun! Honestly the CT season have been the most fun, working on such tight budgets is enjoyable and you can much easier build your own storyline.

RP. It's awesome to sign talents f.e. and see them turn into something usefull.

A Mixture. In the past I was a hardcore powergamer, aiming for the best results possible (Win PT by all means possible). After having achieved the goal it has become less important for me, and rather the RP part has become intruiging. I still try to maximize the team to the fullest, but with some strict rules I have set for myself.

A mix of both. I obviously want to be successful but improving riders from non-traditional countries and things like that are what make the MG so unique imo.

A mix of both, I guess. As much role play as possible, while still getting good results. But I find role playing more fun, which I took more serious in my first seasons with the game.

Combination of both. I build my team around riders I like RP about who are still good in-game.

Id say it's always a combination of both approaches for me. I like to have a core of longterm riders with skill sets that i think are really cool and/or fit my focus even if keeping these riders instead of doing more wheelin n dealing removes the ability to power game the system to some extent. And certain choices (e.g. not investing into a TTT team) are mostly RP choices based on which parts of cycling i enjoy the most.
But obviously there is also a lot of power gaming in other aspects of my game play. Notably in how i use the cap/loan cap/min rider numbers, choice of domestiques outside of that longterm core, planning of my riders etc.
Generally i always try to search for solutions that fit both RP and power gaming somewhat but there are a lot of examples for cases where i priorized one aspect over the other for both sides.

Mix of both but suck in PG

Role play, because I’m over emotionally attached to my riders (and not good enough to power game let’s be honest)

A mix of both, some team identity and some results worth talking about.

Initially was fortunate to have both angles. PT team for optimal results - but with a national Luxembourg core for realism purposes; PCT team for more full on RP first to pursue British success; then on to African - closing out both upon completing the RP objectives. Vesuvio over time shifted to the healthier pursuit of fun over all out optimisation. Targeting the success of certain riders; going for results in certain races; and elements of pursuing different types of things to target than previously. Generally becoming attached to riders and enjoying what they can achieve.

Initially I was quite young and looking back at it I didn’t really like my approach. I really like my approach now! It’s resulted in yoyoing between CT and PCT but I now feel I’m well set for the future.

Was a big fan of RP. At the moment not so much because of time issues, but that's always the interesting bit. Obviously want to do well, but this is a hobby for me not a job, so I can't take this that seriously. In the end, I guess you have to put in the time to do well in the MG.

It's a bit of both. I want my team to have some personality (cool riders from my focus regions, talents, riders I like, ...) and don't want to sacrifice everything for results. On the other hand I'm much more focussed on also building a competitive team than I was in the past when I was wasting a lot of my salary cap on riders I wanted to have for reasons that were different than maximizing my scoring potential.

RP gives me a stronger attachment to my riders

I prefer RP, but not to an extent that I would have an 100% RP team

I like a combination, I am willing to sacrifice a little competitiveness for some attachment to the team as that is more enjoyable long term but still want to meet my own goals. If I played only to succeed in game terms it would become all about ego and that would make it less fun.

75% Role Play, 25% Power Gaming. I want the team to feel like a real team and to be able to see natural progression, seeing us develop our own riders and more recently pivoting slightly towards developing an obscure nation.

RP, adds longevity

Initially both, but over time it shifted from 70/30 to 25/75. Nation/region building was the first major intention, and when I thought "the job is done" focus changed. Also other teams coming in with the same regional focus helped, as in the MG there are nowhere near as many useful regional riders to fill even domestique spots for the number of teams in the region, so stepping down on those to let the other ones battle out the thin regional pool felt like the right thing as the "biggest" player in the region, especially as I really like the other managers in the region on a personal scale and wish they can build this strategy similarly to me when I was in their position.

RP. Building a team that I find cool within my region and for the races that I like is the most important, not winning TdF.

While I do try to keep some riders from my team's focus regions, it is not a top priority as my team building strategy is to try to get the best possible riders that I can.

There are so many options out there for games and activities where the primary purpose is competition and winning. Real life itself is like that a lot of the time. I definitely want my team to be competitive because it sucks to not be involved in races or not be able to experience all parts of the game fully. And winning feels good. But I think the roleplay aspect is really what sells the game for me. It's not trying to be the best, but trying to be the best I can while dedicating myself to a team philosophy and nationality focus. And then bringing that focus into an interactive space where so many other managers have different storylines and perspectives that they're working with. Emphasizing RP for my team makes the communtiy aspect more worthwhile to me. And that's really what makes Daily and the MG special. There's hundreds of single player experiences I could try if I just wanted some brain exercise. The MG is another animal. Plus, I'm just a very sentimental person and I value continuity, so I'm just not really willing to commit to the turnover necessary to go fully for points every year. Might as well go for RP then.

That's all the replies in full, as these are a lot less identifying of the manager & contain less personal information. I know this was a key question for most of you coming. There is a lot to digest and figure out here.
For me it's interesting that the answers in general feel a lot more balance in RP vs PG than the ranking questions above which leant more RP. The honesty is always appreciated. I also find it interesting that a number of answers make reference to changing attitudes over time from PG to RP, and even from RP to PG.
Definitely a few talking points to pick out & work into some questions on a future survey.

Do you have a long term, 3+ year, plan for your team?
Spoiler
Yes: 29 (67%)
No: 14 (33%)

For me i thought slightly more managers were winging it on a year-to-year basis, but it's interesting to see so many of the players are commited to the long term. Certainly this gives the MGUCI some confidence in long term fixes to game issues, and knowing there should still be a strong player base for years to come.

Do you keep multiple spreadsheets/documents about your MG team?
Spoiler
Yes: 28 (65%)
No: 15 (35%)

We do have one manager with a 3+ year plan but doesn't have multiple files for it, i assume they have a good memory. But again it's a good showing of a commited player base who are invested strongly in the game for the future. Both this and the question above should put a big smile on the faces of CT/SN/Roturn and the others who worked hard to create the MG & work hard to keep it going year-on-year.

The answers to this were a mess, but it's a clear win for Amadou Bakari! Way too many of you picked your own riders.

If you could freely make any change at all to the MG, what would it be and why?
Spoiler
Overhaul race calendar for all divisions

(1) More random system concerning stat gains/decrease to make the game more unpredictable. (2) Add race crashes back in. (3) Add more ways money can spent during the transfer season.

Introduce crashes

Team role/strategy selection (not practical though)

- Removing the 24h period after a transfer deal is posted to make "handshake deals" binding. (Still keeping the 48h moratorium at the beginning where no deals can be posted)
- More freedom for trades (e.g. no min fee for transfers, 1to3 loans etc)
- No mandatory GT goal
- A better PCM / race simulation software Pfft

A full restart at some point. I think it would be interesting, but it would also kill all the history behind the game that makes it so special.

Training cheaper for CT, the same for PCT and more expenssive for PT.

I think trying to fix inflation is the obvious answer here, but I feel like there's no unique way that would keep everyone happy and that no one would disagree with

More active reporters for a faster season

Make it shorter and faster. Seasons always drag themselves way too long for my liking.

Expand stat distribution at the CT-level; so that not every race feels like a role of the dice as to whether a rider will compete or not.

More cobbles! And to be able to choose more races in PT.

Hmmm... hard to say. I love MG. A lot of my issues with it are really more issues with PCM than MG itself. And PCM will never be perfect, or probably even good. I guess if I could just get rid of inflation and fix the DB with the snap of my fingers, I'd do that. Otherwise, I'd really place an emphasis on adding fewer talents and with a wider range of maxed capabilities. Or maybe just restructure a few of the talent development options.
Oh, actually. I would just get rid of the cost of goals you pick having any impact on the upcoming season's budget. New teams should just get the same budget to start, and existing teams should have their budget based entirely on the success and strength of the previous year's goals.

More interest in it I guess? Happy with where it is now but can always do with more applicants, more comments, HQ posts, reporters, etc. Otherwise I really am not smart enough about it to change the mechanics - possibly after my transfers this year I’d change some of the fee rules around 1>3 loans but that’s personal and recent Pfft

make it easier for smaller nations/ lesser riders to max their riders, Even if it was a cap of 50xp from level 4 to max in PCT and 25xp from level 4 to max in CT it would help a little and give options to delay development of domestiques but keep them in house

More expansive stat gain choices

Make reports shorter. Game could run faster.

I would remove/soften the need for CT teams to get PT loans to fully develop a rider (plan to propose this). More broadly, I think the critical changes to the mangame are anything that keeps people active in the game. The game is best with committed, long-term owners. So I guess my answer is I would make whatever change makes the game more fun and keeps people involved. I hope this survey illuminates how to do that more generally. For me, that is being allowed to fully develop Taylor Eisenhart without having to arrange/pay for a PT loan. Not being able to is the one thing that could make me quit right now - my blood pressure goes up just thinking about it. Generally I think CT could be a little more player friendly so someone who doesn't have immediate success or has a set back and gets relegated has more to keep them attached. You have the least race days, the least money, minimal opportunity to sign the best young riders, no ability to ride the biggest races or sign the biggest riders and a 5 year path to the top level (if you do well). Seems like that all that could lose people - so throw CT manages a bone and let them fully develop (some of) their own riders. Having made that argument, if you look at who drops out they aren't necessarily concentrated in CT or PCT relegation, so that may not matter much in terms of player retention. So I am willing to sacrifice my change if there was another change that had a bigger impact on player involvement (although there is no downside to my change so maybe I can make two changes?)

At this point probably fuse CT and PCT due to the low amount of fresh blood

No recommendations at this time. Maybe rider loyalty so their wage demands lessen the longer they’re at the team.

I would add all the countries of the world and random created young riders for them. I believe it would add another dimension to the game I'd enjoy a lot. Additionally, the creation of a U23 calendar to make the MG world even more immersive from my point of view.

Part season planning would be nice. Eg. plan the first half of the races before the season starts, and the remaining season planning could take place 5 races before the first half is done. This would make interaction better and one could quicker make adjustments to new game versions.
From an egoistic point of view I would like talentsetups (U23-U25) teams riding at CT levels, so the PT setup could be more competitive and not as development. All level 1-3 riders could ride there and level up 1 level pr. season.

Make the seasons run through faster Pfft Can't wait for the next races, the next renewals, the next transfer period... I honestly think lots of things are good in MG. I'm not convinced by the OVL formula, though - but in lack of better ideas, I couldn't suggest a concrete change.

Re-set the entire DB & divisions with slightly improve long term inflation measures. A 2-tier system with a PT and larger more free-form CT. Also i'd split half of the real PT race races out to be CT ones.

Either low end training costs, so that training domestiques becomes more viable and increasing the minimum training limit, or slowing the addition of top talents and medium talents to combat inflation. Instead of adding 1 future world beater and 3-4 guys just below him in each terrain every year (who will all end up being trained to the same point more or less), make it 1 for every tier with maybe a few exceptions for real talents irl so that top talents are more sought after.

Reinstate Tareq Esmaeli with 85 in every stat

There are some minor things I would do differently, but I'm not sure what would be the one thing I would change.
Maybe I would change how deals are done, because already a few times I felt that it is not the ideal way currently. Managers should be able to choose by themselves if they want to have a deal set in stone right away or if they would accept better offers. If a manager just wants to take the highest bid for a rider, he should not need to have to confirm a new bid for a rider.
Another thing I probably would slightly change is how training is done. I feel like the game could profit if it would be easier (cheaper) to train stats of a rider that are not his main specialities. Also especially for weaker riders. (Why is it more expensive for an 75 OVL rider to increase a stat to 67 than for a 78 OVL rider?).

Going to take this in a more serious manner. I think a HUGE revamp of rider renewals needs to happen, it really so broken for any riders that aren't worth 500k+ wages. Guys who constantly go for 50k ask for 130k in renewals, Guys who didn't progress and had a 50k wage the year before all of a sudden want 200k. If this seemed consistent I would much prefer it, but it really does not seem consistent in terms of cross-terrain consistency.
Example.
Tsatevich last year was like 70k wages, an unreal price. No matter how well he did in the CT (didn't even finish top 30), there is no world where a rider of his skillset should be asking for 200k in renewals (he took 165k, after rejecting a 155k bid). But IMMEDIATELY that rider becomes a negative for the team that has him, but that really ruins the roleplaying aspect for me. In no sport do riders get a 1 year contract every single year, and this is especially wack in my opinion for big-name talents, as a smaller team has to literally give up everything to go after big talents, while pro-tour teams can get a 600k knowing his wages will go down to 300k the next year.
That said, I am complaining a lot without much of a fix in mind honestly. A multiple year contract system is pretty complicated, but I think would add tons of layers to this game. More riders would get sacked, younger riders would cost less likely in year 1, but you'd be on the hook for a longer-term.
If there's a non-structural change though I could make, I find a few of the younger/newer riders are a bit rude in negotiations. But I also think that naturally fixes itself when you realize some people just aren't interested in dealing with you after (happened in my first few years).
Sorry for all the spam, feel like I'm not the most present MG manager so just wanted to get some ideas out there. That said, I've been a part of the MG since I was 15 pretty much (I'm 22 now) and I absolutely love it.

Add random decrease variable to riders under age of 32 to mix order of strength in base DB

Make it easier to track when reports involving your team are posted

The game-engine (PCM XX) being a better simulation product. It deals with some things really quite well (or at least 'sensibly/transparently'Wink. Other things that were/are a bit wonky negatively impact all of our shared enjoyment of the game. Current examples would be things like sprints often being a lottery, some mountain stages basically being uncontested with big groups finishing together, AI decisions relating to chasing breaks (mostly an issue in GT's). In some respects it does a surprisingly good job; still doesn't negate the desire for better/more!
Relating to MG management, I think progress has been made towards controlling runaway rider stat inflation, although is important to keep a steady hand on this. For instance, is now transferring into mass stat inflation of 'secondary' stats instead which will itself be a big issue in a few seasons time.
Relating to the transfer market, I think in last 2-3 seasons there is also a growing issue of being no/negative impact in re-signing riders - although a gamble, cheaper to release and try and re-sign, or sign an equivalent - the gamble is becoming very small. Not an issue with top leaders, but for lesser riders seems counter-intuitive that the best approach is to dump everyone and get replacements (Look at successful teams like Isostar who have replaced all their riders with wage of 100K or less with pretty much exclusively 50K FA alternatives who are equallt as competent). Some thought of a mechanism to reward (or at least not penalise) loyalty between teams and riders might be required now that the DB is as is, and we have a slowly shrinking manager base (numerically).

Make the current DB smaller and add less riders every season.

Shorter reports due to load of work

No real change, I would just love to be able to ensure the game is safe in the future with less people joining every year + disbandments.

Widen wage gaps between divisions to have riders fitting better to the respective divisions, much more emphasis on past performance than ovl on renewals, fielding a control team with advantage in sprint races so that the sprint AI for the first 3 in the GC is not broken and they don't sprint, allow amateur/regional teams for regional development, cut half the unsigned sprinters before next season from the game to stop the overload. Remove 2 GTs to free up space for a more diverse and hybrid-friendly PT calendar.

that riders would have more realistic stats compare to what do they have in MG or in real life.

I like that a good number of you embraced the freedom of this question. Definitely concepts in here we wouldn't see appear in the yearly "Suggestions" thread, some of them for a good reason. But maybe there are few thoughts in here, especially the repeated ones, that could be explorede further.
I won't analyse more than that, apart from i'm happy to see some others getting on board with my reset idea.

For a Survey Part 2, what question would you want to ask?
I'm not going to list the answers to this or particularly talk about it. I've noted the themes and good questions, and it has definitely helped going forwards!

If you could add any Cycling Legend (e.g. Merckx, Anquetil, Coppi etc) to your MG team who would it be?

Thanks for doing this. Definitely some themes in the suggestions. A lot of people who clearly care for the future of the game. Echo the thanks to CT/SN/Roturn for creating it.

@Alex - I thought there was only 1, so this was big news to me.
@Croatia - There'll be more to come as the season continues Smile
@SotD - We also know there's an African who didn't participate. But we got a strong showing from the current managers.
@Tinxia - Just read any previous Suggestions thread, people are passionate in their differences. But what this shows above all is that we just want a good game for as many people as possible.
@Ulrich - Work is already underway on the next survey, but not until the new year

Thanks for doing this. Was a good read. The RP vs Power Play question was the most interesting one to me and i loved how different the answers were there.

I love how you can match some of the texts so easily to certain managers but were posted anonymously Pfft

Can’t believe my answer about why my sponsor was chosen was too identifiable, I’m sure loads of people have been asked to cease and desist by a company on twitter Pfft

Really cool and interesting to read, great effort TMM thanks for doing this!
