Yes! Wilco should have fun in Liege

Could happen! But there's a small issue of a clash which might see him in a completely different continent

Another year, another set of Goals, and another set of Goals based on Kelderman! The difference with last season is that was CT, and now it is PCT, and the competition has gone to another level in the division. We did pick realistic goals though, and left ourselves good margins to be able to reach our goals. The following are the races we'll be targeting this season...
Having won this race last season, and with the clash with Lugano likely to split up the punchers a little, we picked Milano Torino as our only Win Goal of the season. We hope Kelderman can repeat his ride from 2020 and he'll have good support to back him up.
Another race where Kelderman has done well in the past is our only Top 5 goal of the season. The course suits Kelderman and he'll once again have good support to enable his cause.
The only PTHC goal for Kelderman should be another course which suits him and we've kept the margin of error high by aiming for a Top 10, which should be more likely.
Going into transfers with no leaders on any terrain other than the hills, we could've put four hills goals but that was not sitting particularly well with at Philips - Force India HQ. Our top priority in the window was actually a Northern Classics specialist, and so we decided to go with our home race as our last goal race for the season. While we did not get any of our top targets, we still have a couple of decent options to target this goal.
We had higher hopes for the season when we picked this goal but right now it looks unrealistic. If we achieve double the position of our intended target, we'll be satisfied with the season.

I like those goals a lot - smartly played with picking some crucial clashes to make startlists slightly weaker than you'd usually expect otherwise. Van Asbroeck looks like a fantastic signing for Rheden too!
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

I agree with knockout. Smartly picked goals. We'll only meet once regarding goal races, and it'll immediately be our last race of the season Hope Kelderman can repeat last year's performance, and I also hope my leader will be quite close to him there

I disagree. Kelderman has clearly shown he does not have it in PCT. Numbers don't lie and they spell DISASTER for Philips

@knockout: Kind of made it a habit to try to exploit clashes, so hope this works out. A lot depends on Kelderman for sure. Hoping the TVA deal pays off as well.
@Nemolito: Not sure I'll exactly enjoy who I think you are sending to Emelia, but we'll do our best
@quadsas: Didn't know numbers could spell

Great goals for Wilco, indeed. If he performs like last year, you shouldn't have to worry about those Of course, win goals are always a matter of luck, but he should be Top 5 in Milano - Torino and Emelia. Actually, given that PCT is even more stacked in terms of puncheurs than PT, Wallonie could be even easier to achieve
Let's see if Rheden is easy enough for Van Asbroeck; if he can keep up with the best cobblers, he should indeed easily achieve your goal there.
And I doubt Wilco will have another horrible season as two years ago, so really hoping to see you stay up!

The question is which Wilco will show up. Needs to be last year's version to have a chance. And I do kind of agree that the Wallonie goal might be the most achievable one. Let's see who goes to Rheden

I'll be competing against you in each one of those races, especially the two Italian classics

Not surprised that Wilco and Beltran will clash again on the hills. There aren't a lot of places to hide from each other in that terrain!

It is time to reveal this year's calendar that the team will be racing. We have taken a few conscious startlist decisions and went ahead with this calendar, as we thought it gave our leaders and depth the best chance to score well. The exact leader schedules will be revealed later.

Looking forward to our two PTHC bands together I've told you before but I think you did some really cool dealings in the window and I'm looking forward to how you'll go - think 3 or 4 goals completed should be very doable, and I wouldn't be shocked with 5 though I haven't studied the division much Good luck, and let's hope Wilco's year in the CT has got him fired up to show the PCT what's what

I hope the team lives up to your optimism and the team can cement a PCT place for the season. Hoping the goals we picked are gettable. Thanks for the nice words

A lot of one day races on that calendar. I approve
