Here is the file that will be used to select C1/C2 races, as well as HC for CT teams.
PCT: https://pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2021/F...ionPCT.xls
CT: https://pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2021/F...tionCT.xls
PCT Wildcard Selection: https://pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2021/F...ection.xls
PCT teams have a total of 175 race days, including their 61/62 HC and 42 PTHC race days.
CT teams have a total of 150 race days, including their 58 C2HC race days.
So PCT have 71/72, CT 92 race days left to choose C1 and C2 races. CT teams will also be able to choose HC races.
PCT teams will be required to sign up to at least 10 C2 race days. The restrictions on riders they can enter into C2 races will be adjusted. It will now be a maximum OVL of 74.49, with stat restrictions on Cobbles and TT/PRL having a max of 76 in any of those categories in races that feature this terrain.
To select a race, put a '1' in the bordered box by each race. (Columns E, L, S, Z)
- PCT teams must put a 1 by all races in each of their six bands of the revealed HC bands.
- PCT teams must put a 1 in the box by the name of their three PTHC bands.
- CT teams already have a '1' added to the box by the C2HC bands.
Priorities
There is a Priorities column for each race category this year (Columns F, M, T), which is necessary, because you will not be guaranteed entry into every race you want to ride - due to the limit of 24 teams per race.
PCT teams receive prioritised entry into C1 races by default.
CT teams receive prioritised entry into C2 races by default.
This effectively means you have almost guaranteed entry into those races - we have never previously had more than 24 PCT teams wish to enter the same C1 race.
PCT teams: You need to put a priority marker next to every C2 race you wish to enter. Put "P1" by your top priority race, "P2" by your next priority, and so on.
CT teams: You need to put a priority marker next to every C1 and HC race you wish to enter. Put "P1" by your top priority race, "P2" by your next priority, and so on.
All teams should then include five additional NX priority markers "N1", "N2", "N3", "N4", and "N5" next to races you have not signed up for in your initial selection. These represent your 5 back-up races, in case you do not receive entry to your initial selections. They can be in any category, although for PCT teams, they should only be necessary for C2 races. This will help to quicken the race assignment process, although in each case, you will be asked to confirm you are happy with the proposed change - and have the opportunity to change your mind.
It may be that five extra races are not enough. In that case, we will follow up for additional choices. However, note that for any additional races, you will no longer receive prioritised entry into your main divisional races over teams from the other division.
Example of how this works:
Spoiler CT team.
They choose their 150 RDs wherever, and by the C1 races they pick, they put P1 next to the one they want the most; then P2; then P3, etc for however many C1 races they went for.
Then they have 5 NX choices. These need to go by races they haven't selected.
So lets say e.g.:
N1 for Tour de Romandie
N2 for GP Lugano
N3 for Hanko Classic
N4 for Tour of Britain
N5 for Volta a Catalunya
If you fail to add priorities to your file, you are more likely to lose out on your aimed races!
---
Scenarios:
1) They wanted to be in Celtic Chrono, but it was full. Two CT teams wanted in, the other team gave it P1, this one only gave it P7 - so will lose out. We can't give them top choice Romandie as that is 6 RD, so we give them a space in GP Wallonie instead.
2) They are rejected from 6 C1 RD. We give them Romandie, which isn't full.
3) They are rejected from 6 C1 RD, but Romandie is also full. We give them GP Lugano and Hanko. Hanko was full, but we kick out a PCT team. The CT team still needs 2 more RD to fill, and no other options, so we need to ask them.
They say they want Roma Maxima. But this is also full, and as it wasn't in their 5 NX choices, we will no longer kick out a PCT team, they need to pick something else.
Keep in mind that while the Tour of America is C1 rated, it will be given HC point scale!
Submission is uploading the file to your Dropbox folder and PMing ManGame-Admin (https://pcmdaily.com/profile.php?lookup=51454) to say your C1/C2 choices are done. |

Questions regarding the PCT C2 race stat restrictions:
- Is SPRINT restricted in a race like Tachira, California, GP Herning?
- Likewise, is TT restricted in stage races like Tachira or California?

Stat restrictions only apply to COB and TT/PRL, as far as I see. No mention of sprint.
And only to races where the stat is actually of use. So you could send an 80 TTer to Placci, but not to Trentino. At least that's my understanding.

Today is the deadline for C1C2 race selections for ALL PCT and CT managers.
It`s very important this year, that all PCT teams prioritise for C2 races and CT teams prioritise for C1/HC races as there surely will be some oversubscribed races!
When you don`t have prios or backup races in your selection file as explained above, you might miss out on some.
Same goes in case you miss the deadline!
For PCT teams, that are aiming to buy wildcards for the PT races, here is the selection file for you.
PCT Wildcard Selection: https://pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2021/F...ection.xls
If you don`t plan to get a PT wildcard as PCT team, please PM to Mangame-Admin with "Wildcards NO" in the title.
If you plan to get PT wildcards, upload the file to your dropbox and PM Mangame-Admin with "Wildcards Uploaded" in the title. |

Is the deadline for PT Wildcards the end of transfers (i.e. when we submit transfers file), or before?

I feel like this has been asked every season, but if I applied for PT wildcards would it give XP to the riders going?

PT Wildcards will still give the XP points (as per the table) - PT races only do not give classification points for PCT teams

XP -> yes
RD -> no
Points -> no
Clashes -> apply
Guess that's a pretty neat summary - I just hope it's correct

Sorry, it's me again ^^
In the Stat Gains, XP, Wildcards etc. thread I read the following:
roturn wrote:
There is a package cost for applying to a particular race category - you can apply to as many races as you like within a category, once you have bought the package. (Although there is an overall limit of races to apply for)
What is this overall limit? Didn't find it neither in the other thread, nor here, nor in the Wildcards Excel.
And is there a priority per category, or just an overall Priority P1 ... PX?

Yes, usually just make it P1, P2,..., Pn.
Depending on other teams wildcards you then get couple races. Usually it was around 2 per category iirc. Maybe less at times, maybe more.
We try to balance it out but it mainly depends on the PCT teams going for wildcards.
Not sure about the exact wording of this part. Maybe SN can clarify this further as I guess it's been there for sure some time already. |

Also another reminder for the three teams still missing to send in C1C2 Race selections.
At one point, which likely is transfer end and we have all wildcards information to send out planners, you will miss out to do the selections yourself.
Due to missing the deadline you already miss out on oversubscribed races by now as those were already balanced between managers involved. |

From last years Wildcards thread, the limit on races to apply for is 16.
Have previously expected one priority list across all race categories.

If I apply just for one particular race, do I increase the chance to get WC there? Or chances are same, no matter how much races I apply for?

It likely would increase the chances for that race - but naturally rules out any chance of getting more than one Wildcard race.
