Welcome to the 2021 pre-transfers team of Festina-OAKA. 3 riders are missing from the 2020 team. Leadout sprinter Georgios Bouglas have been cut, making room for Farantakis to lead the way, while stagiare riders Delettre and Guglielmi haven't been given a professional contract.
Surname | First Name | Wage | Availability | Lecuisinier | Pierre-Henri | € 1.080.000 | Unavailabe | Coquard | Bryan | € 600.000 | Maybe | Koretzky | Clement | € 425.000 | Maybe | Bongiorno | Francesco | € 195.000 | Available | Boily | David | € 175.000 | Available | Nizzolo | Giacomo | € 120.000 | Available | Vlatos | Panagiotis | € 135.000 | Unavailabe | Van Niekerk | Aidan | € 130.000 | Unavailabe | Karatzios | Georgios | € 100.000 | Unavailabe | Ioannidis | Nikolaos | € 75.000 | Unavailabe | Mavrikakis | Michail | € 80.000 | Unavailabe | Kortsidakis | Michail | € 70.000 | Unavailabe | Spanopoulos | Ioannis | € 65.000 | Maybe | Farantakis | Stylianos | € 60.000 | Unavailabe | Giannoutsos | Miltiadis | € 70.000 | Unavailabe | Kastrantas | Charalampas | € 55.000 | Maybe | Rochas | Remy | € 50.000 | Maybe | Zoidl | Riccardo | € 50.000 | Available | Osorio | Juan | € 50.000 | Available | Morin | Emmanuel | € 50.000 | Maybe | Miltiadis | Andreas | € 50.000 | Unavailabe | Kiriakidis | Ioannidis | € 50.000 | Unavailabe | Vila | Aimiliano | € 50.000 | Unavailabe | Lafay | Victor | € 50.000 | Maybe | Stavrakakis | Georgios | € 50.000 | Unavailabe | Carretero Millan | Hector | € 50.000 | Available | Agrotis | Alexandros | € 50.000 | Unavailabe |
A few riders have been given the opportunity to pursue a contract elsewhere, although neither are unwelcome at Festina. Riders like Bongiorno (79MO, 75HI), Boily (78HI, 76MO) and Nizzolo (80SPR, 79ACC) will likely be looking for more leading roles in other teams rather than to supplement the leaders Lecuisinier, Koretzky and Coquard.
Riccardo Zoidl (75TT, 74MO) expressed his desire to move back to lower ranks, to pursue GC results again while Juan Osorio and Carretero Millan are both odd-men out in regards to nationality. Both talented climbers that should become very solid riders in 2 years time.
Feel free to comment.

Let's see if we get a deal this time... But the older the rider in question gets, the less I'm willing to pay

Hehe, as long as he keeps getting better than the competition just by being slightly younger, I guess there's no problem

Sounds like something we have tried before
Absolutely. I will look forward to that - No matter if it's just a good Man-Game chat or a good trades chat

Naturally, we’ll be in touch as I have a Frenchie available and you’ve got a rider I’d happily take on loan.

Welcome to this short presentation of two new greek riders. We are happy to be able to continue the path that we have been taking for quite some time, and to add a couple of very interesting riders.
| Pangiotis Christapopoulos | 2.00 | 26yo | Timetriallist | €60.000 |
Fl | Mo | Hi | TT | St | Rs | Rc | Co | Sp | Ac | Fi | Dh | Pr | 68 | 60 | 69 | 72 | 68 | 66 | 62 | 62 | 62 | 68 | 72 | 66 | 71 | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | | | | ↓↓↓ | | ↓↓↓ | 74 | 61 | 72 | 78 | 72 | 72 | 66 | 62 | 62 | 68 | 76 | 66 | 77 |
Pangiotis Christapopoulos is the best greek TT talent since Vlatos, and while he may never reach the same top level, he does add another dimension with his strong flat, fighter and hilly capacities. We are certain that in the future Christapopoulos will become one of the top greek riders!
| Dimitrios Christakos | 1.00 | 22yo | Stage Racer | €60.000 |
Fl | Mo | Hi | TT | St | Rs | Rc | Co | Sp | Ac | Fi | Dh | Pr | 68 | 69 | 67 | 66 | 66 | 69 | 66 | 58 | 61 | 66 | 70 | 69 | 69 | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | | | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | | ↓↓↓ | 69 | 76 | 72 | 73 | 71 | 74 | 73 | 58 | 61 | 67 | 71 | 69 | 76 |
Dimitrios Christakos is one of already many greek GC talents. He will not reach the top level of Mavrikakis or Giannoutsos, but just below the two - and while it may not strike at first, the small hidden gem of a strong prologue capability is worth to mention. The well rounded greek also have birthday at the same date as his manager which made him a must buy. Being immidiately loaned out his development will progress fast, and he will be available for l'Avenir as a decent top 10 candidate next year!

Nice greeks you have found there, congrats Really love how you keep your focus on a "small" cycling nation - and always manage to come up with really solid talents!
