Welcome to the new thread where you can discuss the stats for the PCM.daily Projects for PCM 21.
Everything commented here will be considered for the next releases of our projects.
Keep in mind that top stats are the most noticeable stats, but those are most often a matter of opinion. I advice people to change some of those stats to their own likings if you don't agree to the stats in our projects.
For us it'd be much more useful to especially discuss stats about smaller riders, those are often easier to miss.
Yes, we know stat discussions, like politics and religion discussions, often show the worst side of people. Therefore, we've decided to set some simple rules so things won't get out of hand in this thread.
1. If you comment on someone's post, comment on the contents of the post, not on the person!
2. Don't make fun of suggestions of other members. Everyone can post their suggestions. It's up to our statmakers to decide what to do with them.
3. Keep your posts strictly on-topic.
Any posts that violate these rules will be deleted immediately and without notification. Consistent violation of the rules could result in suspension or even a ban.
If you'd like to take a look at our stats, you can download just the cdb and check them with an editor. |

Imho mountain stat is too similar in too many riders, in many stages there is no gap and sometimes (too many) in mountain stages there is a 10/15 peloton sprint |

Please try to keep your recency bias in check just a little bit Pogacar finished 3rd in the NC ITT just two weeks ago, getting beaten by Tratnik and Polanc, and the only TT outside of NCs he's ever won was last year at the Tour. Not to mention that Roglic is still dealing with the consequences of his crash.

Arberg- No way is Pogacar an 81 TT while Roglic is just a 77 TT. The big GT riders can always TT well anyway in-game if their TT stats are half decent anyway and I would expect GT riders like Roglic, Pogacar and Almeida for example to TT really well and beat/challenge the specialists if their form was super good anyway.
As for hills and even mtns VDP is always going to be debatable anyway and we really still need more time to see how good he really is and hopefully if he remains in yellow we will find out more

Pogacar 86 MO
But seriously what will we do with that guy?
Also Lutsenko and VDP (until he started soft pedalling) did quite. Maybe a small upgrade for both? |

86 is too much as you can not take doping in the game |

Well Pogacar is clearly something very special and we need to think how to stat him. We've never ever gone above the 83 mtn stat but Pogacar is probably better than this, so opinions on Pogacar?
The rider that has impressed me so much this season is Cattaneo and has almost gone unnoticed. Has had great TT results this season and now has climbing results as well.

In the past I did give 84 to exceptionals like Tony Martin TT or Fabian Stamina, nothing of that in the recent years though. Pogacar definitely seems to be something else this year, but I would also argue that his competitors are mostly injured and thus it's hard to compare him to Roglic, Porte or Thomas. Carapaz didn't crash I think but he did a very stupid attack on friday. The others in the top 5, with all due respect for O'Connor, Uran and Vingegaard, are just on a lower level altogether.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
