Yates stayed attentive and Bettiol was rewarded for his hard work with the KoM jersey, so all in all a good start for us. Will we finally see an epic battle between the Yates brothers here? |

I don't really understand why Beltran is so disinterested in sprinting this year. Sure he shouldn't win anything here, but he could at least try
Stages 3 and 4 are where I need him at his best, so hopefully he keeps safe until then.

Two good stages so far, I guess not everyone is on board for the lower wages plan next season.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Great to see Vermeersch in the break, hope he can do more of this next season.
Somehow Kraftwerk are leading the Teams competition
Thanks for the reports Nemo.

If Ivanov holds on to 20th tomorrow I'll be happy.

Nice to see Duchesne being active, but De Vos and Gaspar yeeting off like that, is not great. Hopefully more break action tomorrow.

Well that was bad
Obviously things can still turn our way tomorrow, but the fact Beltran couldn't drop anyone today, I don't see how he will do it tomorrow. In fact he'll probably do some stupid attack from far out and lose time
Thanks for the report Nemo

Well done of Sarreau to get involved in the sprint on stage 2. He lacks a little bit of speed to be competetive for the stage win, so 5th is about as good as it gets for him.
Also nice to see us present in the breakaway on stage 3 but we need Gallopin or Vichot to be the representative if we ought to be competetive, unfortunately.
Looking forward to the final stage!

YES!! YES!!! Finally a win for the Colombian!
This has been such an awful season from Beltran compared to last year. After some stupid tactics on stage 3, he showed some real nerve today. Reading the report I first thought, great another stage for the breakaway. Then Buchmann got away in that small group and things went from bad to worse. I could already see how he was gonna start chasing, but he did the smart thing. Oomen and some of the others had to chase as well, so he bided his time and he really positioned himself well for the final climb. It was the perfect hill for him and while it was close, it was a deserved win in the end
With this result I think it pretty much confirms we get another year in PCT. But most of all I'm just happy to see Beltran show he can still win on this level
Thanks for the wonderful report Nemo
Spoiler Looks like I gotta really talk bad about Beltran for him to perform

21st. According to my own standards I shouldn't be happy but it could have been a lot worse had he not been here, *cough* Claeys.
Thanks Nemolito for the reports, congrats redordead!

Solid showing from us: Green jersey, yellow jersey for a day, 8th overall, best team and bunch of guys inside the Top 20. We take it and move on to the next race. Not many left now. Thanks for the reports!

Great result for us! Good team strength in making the race hard on the last couple of stages, think we should have kept Meurisse for the finale each time, could have maybe kept Areruya in the front group today. Still tbh that might not have even won him a GC place since he would have lost countback to Yates anyway Very happy with Areruya's individual performance to get a Top 5 on GC, he's been exactly what we needed from him in his L4 year and very happy to have such a "problem" with him, Bennett and Meurisse next year sharing the mountainous to hilly spectrum - should make for fun planning options Shame Oomen beat him to white jersey but a great race from the Dutchman and well deserved
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Congrats to redordead, glad Beltran finally recovered some of last year’s form.
Well done jandal and Mre, valuable promotion points.
Kraftwerk could only manage 1 rider in the top 30, Bilbao a total flop all race.
Thanks for the reports Nemo.

Man, what a bizarre race for us. Borges was meant to be the leader, turned out to be a domestique for Min, who, in all fairness, actually had a very solid race for his abilities.
Congratulations on a deserved victory red.
And thanks for all the beautiful reports Nemo. Cheers!
