Whilst Bernal is setting the world afire, Oomen is the first of the young crops to take a Top 10 in a GT, 9th in Giro.

Imma pick some rando from outside top 30 that Sky might be interested in signing. It's the safest bet.

Shocking reminder that this debate will finaly be settled in a few months.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

It's gonna be so epic when we finally get to June 2021 and this thread'll actually be used as the pre-Tour tread

Great thread indeed. Many things changed. Bernal already won his Tour, Gaudu is somewhere in no man's land, Mas looks to become a solid Top 5 Mollema-type. Adrien Costa though, oh boy.

1: Roglic
2: Pogacar
3: Porte
Think Porte is Ineo's best man! He is much better than Carapaz on the two long flat singles starts and Thomas is too old.
The victory will be a very close match between Roglic and Pogacar. Roglic has a small advantage due to the two long flat single starts and his team can determine the speed in the field. |

Richie Porte is literally a year older than Thomas, I think what might seperate both is who shows better ability to stay on the bike past stage 9, at least.
Also, we should get a thread up and starting for the race! |

I would like to point out that out of the seven riders available in the thread poll, only Lennard Kämna has won a Tour de France stage so far!

If it's not a question of being too old, then it's a question of having your best days behind you. Over-the-hill as the British would call it. Porte has just won Dauphiné and rode on the podium in the tour last year and Thomas has won nothing since his tour victories in 18 and has only gotten worse and worse. |
