Hi folks,
I'm returning to PCM 2020 after a long time away. Curious as to what the best/recommended editing tools are now, for custom databases and team graphics? About to jump back down the rabbit hole of recreating a giant historical database of teams/riders. Any info/advice appreciated.

Your post is very helpful to get some effective tips to reduce weight properly. You have shared various nice photos of the same. I would like to thank you for sharing these tips. Surely I will try this at home. Keep updating more simple tips like this. Door installation Companies
So should we reduce weight or install doors?
Let's save the history of PCM together!
Just write me a PM if you have something for old PCM Editions (from 2005 to 2014) - databases, stages, shirts etc. and we'll share it.

Excel editor I find the best for editing databases. Its great for mass copying and stuff like that, although I think you need Lachi's Editor to edit the Local.cdb, or you could use PCM DB Edit.

I'd also strongly recommend PCM Career Explorer which helps with the immersion, planning, etc. and even provides easy fixes for minor problems that PCM career mode brings up, like a rider improving from 70 -> 80 MO over a few seasons, but his hill stat not improving at all.
For team graphics, best value is still Paint.net for free, but nothing beats Photoshop to me.

For most DB edits, the new PCM DBEdit from Davy Depuydt can be recommended. It's basically the old Fast Editor updated and improved. For larger scale edits when you want to copy/paste whole columns or rows, I use the Excel Editor/Lachis Editor, which you can find in one of the download sections on the left
Wow, it's been a minute since anyone's been Zabel'd in the General section, I reckon

Thank you both very much. It seems mostly unchanged, since the last time I worked through this. I did find the new Career Explorer tool this morning, which looks useful.
Are the 2020 shirt/minishirt formats the same as 2018?

Yes.
On the editors I still like the original advanced editor because while it take a while to process the first time you then have the individual tables in XML form that you can edit in excel. Whereas the excel editor is quicker if you want to work in one table but less convenient if you are making multiple modifications over time.
