Do you think it is possible to adapt the points scale for the Giro in the next updates? For exemple 50 points for flat stages.
I know it is impossible to have the exact same as the new IRL scale but the idea is to give more points to the sprinters for the cyclamen jersey like IRL. |

Can you point me to an overview of the exact point distributions per stage / intermediate sprint? It actually should be fairly easy to replicate, there are files for that. Unless it has some weird specifications that aren't possible in game.

Yes it has some things that we cannot put in PCM. For example, the first intermediate sprint is for the cyclamen jersey and the second intermediate sprint is for the bonifications.

I think it is better to put something similar even if it is not exactly the same, especially the 50 points for the first rider of a flat stage, 25 for the first rider of a middle difficulty (hill) stage and 15 points for the first of a mountain or ITT stage.

Actually, I just realized, the game usually selects the variants for that current year, so as long as the game date is set to 2021, and the variant is said to be top_giro_x_2021, it should by default show up as the race in the first season.
First of all, you will need to download the stages, and paste them into your stages folder. The best way to ensure they are showing up in the game is to check they show up as a variant in single race mode. Once your stages are in the game it should work in the first season already, but if not watch this video:

I would recommend watching the whole video.
At the 7:36 mark, he shows the Giro d'Italia. Essentially what you need to do is change each stage manually, to the 2021 variant. Each stage will have roughly the same "name" so it might be quicker to copy the name of one of the stages, and then paste it into each line, only changing the stage number to the corresponding stage in game (if that makes sense).
So if you copied stage 1, just change the 1 to a 2 for the 2nd stage, and to a 3 for the 3rd stage and so on.
One downside to changing the variants manually, is it messes up the reconnaissance training, but its worth it still to me, since I barely ever use that feature anyway.

We plan to release a sponsor pack at some point in the hopefully not too distant future with a ton of custom sponsors, as well as probably "retro" teams. Can't give you any realistic release date, but maybe a little something to look forward to

We have a shortlist of teams we want to include in the future and L39ion of LA is high up on there. It's not going to happen in the next update, but most probably in one of the future ones.

Hey guys,
Just an idea I had for the Volta ao Algarve stage issues you mentioned. What I did in mine was using the stage 4 from the 2013 variant, rename to stage 3 for the "faulty" stages (TT in the 2017 and 2019 variants) and then use it from there.
Just a thought as for me it's better as it's still in the Algarve region and not from other areas of the country. |

Definetely a valid way to go. I thought about doing just that, but I figured that having more diverse variants year over year rather than the same stage in each edition would be more valuable than the added realism. That's a judgment call though, so if you prefer it that way, good that you helped yourself
