Do you (or anybody else for that matter) know if you can determine somewhere which NCs get these emails? I had a brief look through the cdb and didn't find anything. This is obviously an issue for instances where we added the NCs as proper races.

The same question was asked here : https://legruppet...start=1740
But I don't understand the solution...
Not possible to erase the automatic simulations but we can solve it by changing the countries ID ? |

That was exactly the reply they gave...
Though they didn't say where they edit those IDs... |

Literally, the answer reads:
"To get around this, we have changed the country IDs to avoid that the simulated NCs are different from the playable NCs."
Maybe they changed the country IDs in general? If that's even possible.
That way the game would think it's simulating the NC for country with ID 1001 while in the db there's no country that responds to this ID...
In the past, I believe they solved this issue by putting the playable NCs behind the simulated NCs. That way the playable NCs would overwrite the simulated ones instead of the other way around.
Also, while looking into this matter, I noticed all climates are set to South-European. Does the climate not matter? |

Ah yes that is possible. I think I understand in which direction we have to go to solve the problem. But i'm not an expert in databases.
I hope it helps Cunego59. |

I was doing some one day Portuguese races and found a problem with the TT of the Volta ao Algarve that is done on Sagres-Sagres (stage 3 in variants 2013, 2017 and 2019).
The profile shows 17km flat, although the race took more than those 17km.
All riders, not controlled by me, measure their efforts to the distance that is on the file (unknown to me what that is exactly) but their time was taken at 17km (where there was no portic and the start was done as if it was a normal stage - no special departure "podium".
The file seems to be the same for all variants since they all have the same size (3Kb for the .cds and 5.864Kb for the .zces).
Was it a problem with my download or anyone else has the same? |

@Aequitas
Same here. It's a regular stage with several local laps at the end and an uphill sprint. You can easily win the stage by putting your riders at 99 effort. I won 10' ahead of the first rider that's not part of my team. Also, the stage doesn't end until the last rider has finished the entire route.
It's a problem with the stage though. I think you can fix it by looking for a TT with similar length that isn't broken, make a copy of it in the CM_Stages folder, name it "t0_algarve_03_2013" and delete the original file with that name. Repeat for every year that uses this stage.

Doesn't seem fair the 99 effort win by 10 minutes, although that's what i did...
I did swap for the 2018 TT from Volta ao Algarve, but if i need to swap all and get always the same TT, i'll become an expert on riding that TT and will take the fun of it. |

Thanks everybody for the hard work.
One question, is there any way I can reverse edit the 60 minimum for regens while keeping the other regen changes ?
I play at low level and well I guess I'm just not used to it

Quick (and classic) question:
Will there be a stat update after the Giro? |

Sorry for not getting around to some of this earlier. First of all, thanks for the info from Le Gruppetto, maybe I can contact them directly to find out more. Changing country IDs is possible, yes, but requires and immense amount of work since country IDs show up all over the place. Unless there's a quick work around. For the moment, moving NCs backwards a few days is probably the easier solution.
Regarding the broken stage from the Volta ao Algarve, we'll be sure to include a replacement file.

If you still have the original xml files, you can simply copy and paste the interval lines (at the very beginning of every xml file and again in the middle for the maximums, if you also want to keep those original). Then all the changes to the probabilities of minimums and maximums remain from our DB so you can have the different rider types, but with the old stat matrix. However, we haven't tested anything in that direction, so you might run into some weird rider stats. It could just as well work fine, though.

Yes, that is already in the works

Don't you mean moving forwards instead of backwards? Since if you move them backwards, they overwrite the automatic simulated NC's

Pushing back means rescheduling on a later date. |

Overwriting the simulated ones is the point though, isn't it? To make sure that the ones that are actually played are the ones that count?

We included a pretty massive number of new regen names, yes, but I'm not sure if all of it was from the file from Kent. If I remember correctly, fjhoekie and redordead provided us with a lot of name files, too, in part exported from Football Manager mods I think.

Yes you're right, I just translated it wrong, we mean the same thing

I just tested it with the Austrian NC, I put it backwards to 22th of June (while both the simulated and the actual race were on the 20th), and Konrad won the actual NC while Gogl won it according to the automatic mail. In the next race, Konrad was riding in the Austrian jersey (because he "won" two days later then Gogl). So it works now, the actual NC gives the champion. The only 'problem' is that Gogl is riding with the trims, so he is a former champion while he actually isn't

Is the Local file going to be updated? I noticed that not all countries are generating new riders as is the case with the 2020 DB. I guess the regen names are missing for them here. I started a career game but using the old Local file I have. I miss the names of the divisions from the new 2021 file, but I have regens for all the countries.
Thank you very much! |

Thanks for testing, then that is what we'll do. The trims are not ideal, but not too bad in the grand scheme of things, I guess.

Damn. Thanks for making us aware of this, the massive amount of new regen names I referenced earlier that we used for our 2020 Expansion Pack are indeed not in the local anymore, which is pretty weird. But we're definitely going to include them in the upcoming update then, yes!
The update will come out later this week!

Great, the countries where this is the case are Austria, Norway, Estonia, Kazachstan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Sweden, Ireland and the UK in my career
