Anyways...last year i thought he would have lost the jersey much time before, but he didn't. For sure nothing could impress me more than Carapaz's win. |

Less than 0.02% of people in Netherlands are named Taco, about 1,300 in total in a population of roughy 17,5 million. One of them won a Giro d’Italia stage on Monday. It was a win against the odds, five months after Taco van der Hoorn almost left the sport. He held off a charging field alone to take one of those wins that makes cycling so incredibly special.

Atilla Valter’s pink dream starts today.  
We’ll see, don’t think Ineos or BikeExchange will want to have pink so early in the Giro, Deceuninck have Serry up ahead, maybe Bahrain or EF can pick up the pace, Bahrain especially. Weather won’t make it easy though.
